C., I am entirely unconcerned about the 1 DVC turning up. I want to see the Nxt wallet process become easier. I did an 'internal update' this morning. Took about 5 minutes.

Look like I got the functional successful installed wallet now NXT-GCNX-XEA5-WCCV-EXQTT ea396481d1f7e9be69e8f72ccb765cd2f0f41e1edcbaf5638b19a3c05f9b7f22 but is say it is NRS version 1.4.6 I guess that is the last one! so now just need to put some next to start with the other staff ?

My NXT block chain has been downloading for hours and hours. It is making progress (the file size is growing) but it is s...l...o...w!
In other news, go Uno! Great correction today and I look forward to 'reality' becoming firmer as we go! 2015 will be interesting.

Sounds good Mark. I'm okay with buying these 100kg UNO piecemeal, too. Also, what is Independent Reserve? A private thing? (I just looked it up and found a (poorly-edited) piece from SMH that mentions it. Will check it out! I've been using CoinSpot with great success. Also, my NXT wallet is slowing my computer down while downloading the blockchain painfully s...l...o...w...l...y. Have had to stop it during working hours as the rest of the system was almost unusable (this is a quad-core 3.4GHz i7 with SSD drives and oodles of RAM and a 64-bit OS - no slouch!). Frustrating and I don't know why the wallet is using almost a gigabyte of system memory, but I'll leave it again overnight and hopefully she'll be sorted by the morning. Your DVC is coming. Hopefully. (Will refund your UNO if this fails by tomorrow, it's getting a bit silly). |

@IMZ Don't Change shouldn't be made just because of problems with the client - not quite yet, anyway. To help remedy my situation in particular, I went and downloaded yet another full update from NXT's clients page, giving me 1.4.6 instead of 1.4.5. It seems to be a bit quicker now and it looks like the block chain will be finished in the next few hours. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back on track! My personal feeling is to stick with the NXT wallet for now. It's a lovely piece of software, aside from the various inefficiencies of its coding that I feel are lurking under the hood. As noted in the UNO thread, this is beta software for now, so it will hopefully continue to get better! Serves our purposes well for now -- Update: block chain finally loaded. FINALLY.
