If we can add one TT per week for a few months, and advance all the other projects, yes!! But we have limited resources. Two or three completed projects is better than ten uncompleted projects.

The arithmetic will beat you unless you have a physical vault containing enough silver to back every DVC2. And the legal documentation that ‘proves’ the silver is there. And the money to pay maintenance and security and accounting and shipping costs.

If you have all this – even if you can get people to believe you are not a scammer – you then have a currency, an ‘instrument of financial exchange,’ which involves a ‘transaction fee’ that is far far too high.

I'm really curious as to when I can buy it back cheaper?  Might be a long time, as the trend is now Ag-up, up, and away, UNO flat, and BTC still down a little.

I think definitely, BIG TIME!  (While that's just my opinion, of course nobody can usually ever really be sure where things will go, controlled markets or not.)

At the same time, though, DVC has that inverse relationship with both BTC and UNO.  BTC should rebound handsomely at some point, and advanced predictive linguistics have silver and gold being traded FOR BTC, not the other way around, mind you.  UNO - if people had any sense, they would buy BTC with both hands at these cheap BTC prices, and then support the UNO market, buying the available cheap UNO, now, too.

I've already talked all about taking advantage of the high and maybe still growing ratio of the price of 1 oz of silver bullion to BTC.  Even being extremely bullish on silver, I've sold a bunch these last 2 weeks to grab some bitcoinage.  Do I even trust my local psychopathic country government to not steal the silver in some way?  Diversification, if nothing else.  "Rebalancing" for those who really get it.

...As for supporting UNO with fiat trading pairs and other things - Look around, even with nafarious global organizations getting into BTC, the dominant pairs are in BTC!  Supporting UNO with additional trading pairs for BTC price-independence also assumes fiat and even PM's will beat BTC in the next 1-15 months.  What if they don't, starting from the low hitting right around these current few weeks???  The perception within the Unobtanium community that fiat will be more durable in terms of real value in the next 2 years as compared with BTC would pull UNO's price down in the grand scheme of things, would it not?  (Sure, I totally concede that an ever-increasing number of trading pairs has the advantages of increasing liquidity, stability, and market breadth, interest, participation, utility, etc., and I totally still encourage it.)

I don't like what's become of BTC; there's a lot of dirt on it, now, but cycles are cycles, and it's reeely cheap right now!  'The People' can still make good with BTC.  Perhaps it's never too late on that one, ((given certain conditions.))

I do hate, HATE, the evil that is Ripple, yet I even just took a little peek at the price, just this last week.

In politics -- which includes cryptos -- I've seen that idealism provides the fire in the belly that keeps cadre going through the lean times, but pragmatism often produces results that bein' a hard-arse simply won't.

BTC and UNO look a little stronger ATM, but anything can happen tonight and tomorrow.  HIGH manipulation in conventional paper financial instrument markets is anticipated TONIGHT and tomorrow.

@IMZ - there has been an ongoing price discrepancy for the price of our DVC between your daily update posts and the price shown on the Trade Tracker (DVC/UNO at cell F3).

I've found silver prices consistent. The $ value I've been taking from Coinmarketcap. So, 1 oz silver = $16.50. Thus 2 = 3300 cents. Divide 3300 by the number of cents in one Uno = 1 DVC

Quite happy to update this equation.

My method:

Silver - I've found prices consistent from various sources, too (+/- USD$0.05 depending where you look). Trade Tracker uses Apmex.
UNO - you get the USD price of UNO from Coinmarketcap while the Trade Tracker uses Coinwarz (+/- USD$0.03 difference between the two)
DVC - Trade Tracker divides price of 2oz silver (eg. 2x17.61) by the price of 1kg UNO (eg. 1.91) to get the current DVC rate in UNO (currently 18.44kg). Same as you...?

I've noticed the Trade Tracker frequently shows a lower DVC/UNO cost than your updates by about 2kg UNO. It's significant enough now but as UNO increases in USD price, it'll matter more. If you have a minute to help me out here:
- please do your normal DVC calculation that you do for your daily updates
- then check your numbers with those on the Trade Tracker: UNO/USD price at cell A4 and Ag/USD price at G3.

Let's see if we can get this minor issue sussed out before I move things to a more complex setup. Thanks Mark!
