Verification Process
I accept Guyinanutshell's basic premise:
some 'time-stamp' should be part of the Verification process in order to preclude someone re-Verifying with an image of bullion that has actually been sold.
I am not in charge.

Could we add a real-time time-stamp page to the UNO-Ex trading spreadsheet that could be opened side by side with the BCT page and photographed with one's loot?

Could we add a real-time time-stamp page to the UNO-Ex trading spreadsheet that could be opened side by side with the BCT page and photographed with one's loot? Too much high-tech here, perhaps...? What about writing your username on a piece of paper and the current time and date, then photographing that piece of paper with your loot from two different angles/arrangements? That'd be difficult enough to fake that it would be near-impossible to convincingly imitate with software and still simple enough that anyone can do it. Then, when you're called out to verify your holdings by someone, you just re-write a new scrap of paper with current time and date + username and your holdings. Easiest solution, yes?

If non-tech is equally effective, then non-tech!
So, in essence, 'the two angles thing' makes faking just unreasonably difficult, and the date on a piece of paper ensures that the photos-from-two-angles are not of bullion long sold.

Pretty much, yep. Less is more with this stuff, I think. Get it secure enough for our purposes and then let it be. Life is complicated enough already Will some one 'Second!' Guy's Verification post? I second the verification post as it satisfies our requirements in its current form, I reckon. Cheers.

@IMZ, given what must be all of the new buyers showing up for a piece of UNO, do you think that you should reintroduce the ideas of TT and DVC in the main thread again to see if we can get a few more people to join the process?

We could stick it in our signatures, too. Something like: Hate Inflation? You'll love Unobtanium - The crypto commodity you keep! | Join us on the Un-Ex! On the Un-Ex Trade Tracker: become a Trusted Trader, be issued D.V.C. (our in-house UNO/BTC hedge coin), be part of something big!. . .

That far below under market, I'd gladly scoop it up, but I think it would be better served going to establish a new TT!

That far below under market, I'd gladly scoop it up, but I think it would be better served going to establish a new TT! Same reason I haven't taken these! That was my thinking on some sales on the Un-Ex these past weeks, too. Is good to establish things during this foundational period, which will not last forever!

Guys, you pounce on that Uno!
Bein' half blind leaves a lot of time for thinking. Just imagine:
a bunch of guys own Unobtanium. They start a patient 'Buy on Cryptsy; Sell on Un-Ex' programme. What results is a constant gentle upward pressure on Uno price, and an increasing flow of Uno (and other cryptos) through The TT Club.
And -- I bet you haven't noticed that the Uno folk in the South East Asian time zone can hoover up Uno bot-bids while the U.S. is asleep.
Next comes 'packets' -- first one today or tomorrow. We'll sell 'quarters, 'halves' and 'wholes' -- a quarter is the amount of Uno that you get for point two five Bitcoin.
Soon, people will begin to understand that those Unobtanium guys are doin' some pretty interesting stuff.
The Mall cometh.

With that encouragement, can I buy with AUD bank transfer then? Name your price. Because I will if that's ok with you (and BitcoinCharlie, who posted about this lot first)! Ta.

Offer Code Bene0024: I have 10 UNO to buy 1 DVC
Offer Code Bene0025: I have 9 UNO to buy 1 DVC
Offer Code Bene0026: I have 8 UNO to buy 1 DVC
-
As soon as someone claims an offer in a post, it is either executed or cancelled (if they fail to send 1 DVC for any reason,) so subsequent takers can only accept a different offer/code. Codes only used once.
To accept an offer, just send 1 DVC to my bursar's wallet:
Mark's Nxt (which is DVC also): NXT-7G8P-PY3U-8F48-GZP3E
-
Expect return UNO payment within 24 hours, usually much sooner. Thank you!
NOTE: UNO is much more valuable in dollar terms, now, so these offers are actually higher than past offers, even though there are less UNO.

Sir, By all means, have at it. I've been pumping up UNO-EX in the main thread, I'm sure we'll have some newcomers that will be elbowing us out soon to get at the $UNO. I'll gladly let them!
