Bene 0023 -- still waiting for the 9 Uno to turn up. All well.
317 confirms on the 9 UNO, buddy, and cragv has confirmed he received them. You mean waiting on his 1 DVC for me in your bursar's account.

Morning admin, go! Please welcome our newest DVC holder: Guyinanutshell. TT List is up to date: http://indiamikezulu.com.au/454/list-of-trusted-tradersBursar's Wallet contains the 482 un-issued DVC. The Size of Trades on Un-Ex: I suggest that we slowly move to trading 'packets' of coin. For example, 'a quarter' would be the amount of Uno that you get for .25 Btc. These larger transactions -- I'm talkin' months and months down the track -- will make unimportant the clunkiness of this model. Don't think 'hobbyist stall at the market.' Think 'Renowned Players!'

(Wasn't in five minutes ago.) Coinaday! I am so very pleased to see you here! Giveaways? No -- and it wouldn't work. The crowd here is way sophisticated. A few free coins isn't gonna rock their world (you are free to ask on our 'main threads.' This is a task-specific thread). Meanwhile, though, any TT here is entitled to post trades in any trading-pair. Indeed, we encourage it strongly!

317 confirms on the 9 UNO, buddy, and cragv has confirmed he received them. You mean waiting on his 1 DVC for me in your bursar's account. Beg pardon, B. Yes: waiting for the DVC to turn up. (Wasn't in five minutes ago.) NXT client crashed overnight at some point. Behind the 'NRS is exiting' lightbox, I can see the blockchain is up to 04/02/2015 so it's almost there. I've just killed the wallet and fired it back up again... ...to be prompted to update to 1.4.11 -_- It's doing that now. Going by replies in this thread, I have to endure another two updates yet until we get to 1.4.13. I now know to wait until I'm logged in and will then exit the wallet again. It should prompt for the next two updates one by one and then I should be done. Hopefully. Thanks for waiting, Benefactor. Don't think 'hobbyist stall at the market.' Think 'Renowned Players!' That's an excellent point. Love it.

@IMZ I have the same experience as you. Although I have not had to open and close it. I think a lot of the issues stem from Internet reliability and speed.

@Benefactor: I couldn't trade like this outside of a trust network. If you'd like your UNO back and the trade cancelled, that's completely understandable. Am happy to send back to you upon request. Otherwise, I am watching the Nxt Wallet processing blocks from height 0 (is now up to 65000) - I think closing it before must have interrupted it somehow and now it wants to index everything. Computer + internet crawling here while I try to get work done. Have switched to other computers in the meantime. Gah.
(Thanks for your patience!)

Hey, Coinaday! What a strange day it's been.
It will be a while before you can get your hands on beautiful and rare DVC -- but hey! Start the process.
First, become a Trusted Trader (and it's so cool that I already know you from Reddit!) Post here in the thread (in red) something like:
Trade 001me: will buy 10 Uno for .185 Bitcoin.
I will accept the trade (from a small fund I keep for this purpose). We'll puddle on from there.
And PM sent
Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia

Perhaps I misunderstood.
My impression was DVC was created through the process you're describing (which I intend to do once I can). But right now, I'm not talking about creating a DVC like that. I'm talking about the trading in DVC that happens on these pages. Or is a person only allowed to buy DVC after they're already a trusted trader? Although in that case, since I'm just asking for someone to buy it for me and hold it in escrow anyhow, would that not be possible?
But if I can't buy DVC, then I guess I'll just go back to observing the exchange for now, as I basically feel comfortable with my UNO holdings. I'm not looking to buy another 10-25 UNO right now, and I'd prefer not to sell even 25 UNO for BTC (or anything, really; but the novelty of DVC and getting the first trade for trusted trader is worth it).
I was mostly interested in starting a NYAN/UNO trading pair to go along with giveaways I do to introduce the NYAN community to UNO as a discussion piece for comparison of coins. But since you're not interested in having smaller quantities transactions here, I'll start a small volume market for it on /r/nyancoins.
If anyone did have a large quantity of UNO they wanted to get NYAN for or the other way around, I could handle that. I don't expect it to be an in-demand service anytime soon.
