@ Benefactor: OMG! I'm old enough to remember Kissinger's aggsendt!!
Sorry to say, but he's still behind the scenes, machinations for his masters. He recently 'visited Putin'. (Just weeks ago; pretty positive he told him about the hyperinflation, not that I was there or heard anything.) Sometimes he still does corporate media interviews when the powers that be need doublespeak spin on something. He doesn't look like he's aged in decades. Drinks the blood of children or something. Sure, Obama has people like Brzezinski to tell him what to do, but these vampires are all cut from the same cloth. It's red and they still want more blood.

Here's a 'discussion springboard' for the next Phase: If an ‘equity wallet’ is ever found to hold less than the pledged amount, you’re busted. The 10 Uno is forfeit to the Blue Crypto Award fund, and you must return the DVC to the bursar (and receive the going rate therefore).
I don't know that I agree with the ideas for Phase III, but I have to say this doesn't work so well with wallets. Wallets draw UNO by some magical algorithm from the addresses in the wallet, so you can still have the 10 UNO in good faith in your wallet, but the designated public address might still be empty when you use your wallet for anything else. I'm cool with discussing Phase III, and am witholding my own comments at this time, but I do think we need to trade DVCs hundreds of times and have tens of TT's before moving on. JIMHO.

Actually . . . I agree wholeheartedly. It was a concern about insufficient interest/trading that prompted the thoughts. But I see we're getting the volume.

Agreed... I always considered a long period of DVC's in a close circle sandbox style environment. Big idea's and long term analysis certainly but a close to home trusted proof of concept phase to hammer out the reality of price independance and what can be achieved with such a community.

"With a solid and growing community of internal traders a 'kitty/pool' of UNO purchasing power can be rallied to accommodate my purchase (Any purchase) and create a nil impact on UNO overall price."
Yup. Let's figure this out.

@ P-WIPping: woo hoo!! Checked my bank account. Payment has arrived for a P-WIP between cragv and I. So, the 'Australian national chapter' has managed a fiat-Uno P-WIP and a bullion-Uno P-WIP. Ian and I have been working on this for a year and a half!
Many thanks to cragv.
@ Experimental 'fiat-Uno Liquidity Engine': IMZ Mark will have $AU 250 available to buy Uno on Un-Ex in March, 2015.
Let's experiment with a sort of 'L.E. Order Book' that will look sorta like:
"# March 2015, Australia IMZ Mark: $AU 250"
and published at the bottom of each day's Un-Ex price-update

While we're still using this clunky forum thread format to track things, there could be some value to having a section at the bottom of the first post (#1) where the current state of things is kept (log book, updates, etc.). Saves people trawling through the thread for current and relevant information, particularly as the page count continues to grow.

I would, hypothetically, sell a DVC @ 18 UNO, today, but I'm concerned nobody would sell me one back if the price dropped to 16. I keep tossing up buy offers, but nobody takes them. There used to be a premium on my offers! Ok, I know my current price is just a rock-bottom base for the DVC bid stack, but it's my highest offer ever! I guess I might just wait until I can sell one for 24 UNO to make my first DVC trade. Surely, I can cash in on the whiplash after that one!

I hear ya, Benefactor! We're seeing conflicting theoretical possibilities -- DVC as store of value, and DVC as 'Hedge' -- plagued by the low low volume of the first days of the experiment. (I beg your pardon. I did miss one of your offers.)
Please hang in there. It's an experiment; we're learning -- and the last week or so, with successful P-WIPs -- has been a giant stride.
And have you noticed how many folk in the main thread have spoken of Un-Ex as an option for selling coin 'into' the community?
m
P.s.: got a big paper bag of sunshine for you Winter-time folk: Uno went for the first swim of his life today. (Emus love to swim). The sunshine is butter yellow; the sky is china blue; and I picked this season's very first cherry tomato.

IMZ, as far as a first post goes, your 'daily update' could be just as simple as the one you're posting here in the thread every day. The advantage is that it's always easily located by stakeholders. The disadvantage is that overwriting it every day rather than progressively in the thread, there's no historical data to be gathered (though they're usually links and not numbers so this may not be much of a drawback?)...
-- Also, cragv trade #004: WTB 0.25BTC for AUD$102 by bank transfer or (shudder) USD$82 by PayPal. (Don't know if there'll be much interest at this point in time but I'm offering higher than market (AUD$385 vs AUD$405) if that helps. Cheers. (Ed. withdrawn for now; bought elsewhere).
-- PS. IMZ, I've forgotten to verify in the BitcoinTalk Trust section after our trades, sorry! Will do that now. PPS. cragv trade #003 w/IMZ: SUCCESSFUL. Ta.
