Can the Devs here point out hte positives on being on Azure (other than the short Pump that is happening).
Will Microsoft provide you with extra Devs? Will Microsoft give you funding? Will Microsoft work with you?
All i think that will happen, is that this coin, along with other get "added" but thats it. Just microsoft thorwing mud at hte wall and hoping some will stick or am i wrong?
Anyhow, a BIG congratulations to all the loyal SYScoin holders, Party time! i hope Azure treats you well.

As has been stated before MS is only adding coins with something real to offer, they aren't just throwing mud at the wall unless you think blockchain tech as whole is a fad. Microsoft isn't providing any coins with additional devs- that's not their function in this arrangement. We haven't inquired about funding, its not why we entered into this partnership. Microsoft will be working with us in terms of Syscoin's offering on Azure, updating it and helping to market it by way of their BaaS platform. Once we get Blockmarket deployed on Azure we may seek to expand the scope of the partnership. As most people know right now we're focused on the successful release of Syscoin 2.0. As we cross that milestone we'll shift our focus more towards the full range of possibilities with MS (and others). The important part is we're now working with them directly, they've acknowledged the value that Syscoin brings and they're leaning forward to espouse blockchain tech adoption across many functional areas. Increased involvement as we show more valuable offerings via the Syscoin platform is likely and something we'll be pushing for as well. Azure seemed to surprise many people- we're working on more surprises! Thanks to everyone for all the congrats! Couldn't have done it without this awesome community. This is just the beginning, 2016 really going to be a big year for Syscoin!

I'd already installed the (windows) wallet and started syncing before I realized that there's a bootstrap file available on the op Presumably the bootstrap file needs to be dragged/dropped into the appdata roaming folder What file/folder(s) does it replace? i.e. what existing file(s)/folder(s) do I first need to delete? Thanks

Wow, that is a milestone to this coin. This is now one of the coins who will never be forgotten and never die. btw. on poloniex sys have over 2000 btc 24 hour volume, impressive. and over 450 btc buy orders. Now people with millions of dollar joined the coin. Congratz devs, now you will be rich. I predict a marketcap between 10 and 30 million dollar in the next 2 weeks after sys 2 startet.

Oooh yes I have been telling you guys, this is going to be great!! I am already up a 100% but I think it is still nothing. Especially since Azure announced a collaboration, really great news! I also think Syscoin has a Great dev that helps everyone here to answer the questions properly So great job Dano and congrats on the Azure Partnership!!

What the fuck is going on in cryptospace.
Why da fuck is everybody doing swaps to be more scarce?
You really pretend to be bitcoin?
Do you think people want to have 0.000012 bullshit altcoins or they wanna be millionaires?
Biggest note in Europe:500€ Biggest note in Senegal: 10,000cfa
What the fuck you dont understand?
Even in bullshit real coin people prefer to have millions to pennies.
Stop reducing the monetary base. We need to focus on the next adoption phase not attracting a few especulators to pump the price for a week.
Enought. Altcoins are NOT btc. Stop playing that game.

The absolute tenacity and work ethic of this Dev team should serve as a guide to others. This is what will snatch success from the jaws of near failure. You guys rock in every regard. Good job. Onward and upward!

Lol you also realize that 500 euro is 327k in Senegal, I had to look it up but kinda stupid to compare it to money from senegal that has almost no value. I even read that they want to remove the 200 and 500 euro because it is a lot of money, and it only makes it easier for criminals to do big transactions in Euro. It doesn't matter if the coins are getting scarcer it is a good thing, if there are less coins the price will go up. Also Because of the good news I made a tweet on twitter About the Azure collaboration! If you want Please Retweet that thing and give me a follow as well! https://twitter.com/CryptoTradeADay/status/710096553768312832Thanks!

Apparently that's the way now to get eyes and fake whale volumes to pump a coin and bring some value to it, sad.

And to see the real value that brought us to become a partner with Microsoft, try the Beta wallet here: http://syscoin.org/help-us-test-bitcoins-killer-app/Then if you would like to criticize, you are certainly welcome to either by posting here with valid concerns or by opening an issue on Github here: https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin2/issues

Real "whales" with thousands of bitcoins are now in this coin. Sys has now a 24h volume of over 4400 BTC! or in Dollar = 1.800.000 Dollar, in only 24 hours. On Azure are only a hand of coins, and that are the best alt Coins on the market with some unique features, that make them better then bitcoin. Do you think Microsoft a multimillion dollar company would add such shit clones like your WildBeastBit Coin ? You have no idea what you are talking about kid.

Waiting for linux build. Any eta?
We typically don't put together linux builds since most people running linux know how to build from source and generally have to change some things depending on ubuntu/centos/etc and version too. Do you know how to build from source? If not we can put together a linux distro but because we are very much focused on packaging and testing the next beta release as well as working with additional potential partners, talking to merchants, and prepping marketing materials any linux build would be lower priority at the moment. If you want to try building for linux in the interim this is the code you'll want to run (for testnet) - https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin2/archive/2.0b1.zip if you're trying to build the mainnet wallet v1.5.1.1 you'll want to use this - https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/archive/1.5.1.1.zip. Will try to build the linux wallet for ya soon as we can though! Might be able to get it together before the weekend

Thanks! I wish! Team still has dayjobs as we'd have to sell a significant amount of SYS to offset our salaries, we're all professionals in our respective fields. There is no way we'd sell the amount needed to offset our salaries, not at these prices. So for the moment we're still working dual jobs during the day and then spending 2-6hrs a night on Syscoin after work (we're committed!). Waiting for linux build. Any eta?

Just make sure you use the source from the zips as the branch code is now updated and wont work on the public beta testnet. The master branch of /syscoin will work on mainnet. Any questions just ask here or pop in Slack.

Iam expecting a 100 million dollar marketcap with microsoft as a partner and after the susessful launch of Sys 2 (in 2-3 weeks) with the decentralized marketplace.
