I find the Bittrex UI a bit cluttered and unintuitive (maybe because I'm used to the simplicity of Mintpal v1 (can't login to v2..)) but the exchange itself seems solid, with a decent amount of volume.

Dan I'm just sorry you guys get distracted from the important things to have to deal with the likes of childbot.
I have been on forums though where that first tirade would have gotten him canned , pronto!
Zero tolerance for that kind of noise.
Don't quite understand the follow the protocol thing here before dropping the hammer.
Even before I saw another member's request to hit the "Report to Mod" button my mouse was headed that way.

Anyway, looking forward to what you guys are working on.

Also, Bittrex users......you like the exchange?

Thank you for the response.
Can't do much if you do log in, working on a couple small withdrawals to test  as I need to move some larger amounts of  coin out.
The withdrawals are  hung up, try to use the "support" button to log in I used my user email and the password (new one mintpal forced a change you know) and now it tells me user/password invalid. sorry, the place is a trainwreck.

Advice to Syscoin....run...fast...many unhappy traders over in the forum thread. Moolah really blew this bigtime.

Not quite sure what you are referring to, as far as the Syscoin team, we aren't running anywhere! We are working day and night to ensure that development continues strong. What forum thread are you talking about, this one? Moolah does not own us, we simply entered a partnership for them to provide their escrow services.

LOL @ folks "relying" on mintpal/moolah for anything.  let's be real folks, they tried, failed...continue to fail.  HOPEFULLY in another month they'll get their act together.  don't put your SYS hopes on that kind of exchange for whatever reason.

regardles, SYS is a long term deal...not sure why folks are so up in arms over the price/ico/etc/etc lol...dumbasses.  but whatever, i guess some folks just go nuts having say a whole 1btc tied up in something they can't touch.  if you invested more, you should obviously be "rich" enough to leave it/not think about it daily and just ride SYS + believe in it, in order to give you a sold return ONE DAY in the future...be it months or even 1yr +

Apologies, I did a poor job of saying don't get more involved with them. I didn't mean it to be taken that Syscoin dev team was running.

It really irked me the way you guys were treated by Moolah when you launched. They now have a much larger problem....logins fail, coins lost and support slow and erratic at best.

They seemed to be real good at telling others what to do......but I wouldn't let them anywhere near your codebase with their team. They botched this badly. Poor design and poor implementation.

Correct, thank you for that, unfortunately, lately in the crypto community, ICO's have been advertised as pump and dump scams. Buying Syscoin is a real investment, not something to sell as soon as it launches, long-term should definitely be what people foresee for this type of investment (which is exactly what a real investment should be). IMO, it seems that many people confuse investing with day-trading; day-traders are there to make a quick profit; buying and selling quickly. Syscoin has only showed a very small amount of it's potential so far (there is MUCH MUCH more to come). If you bought Apple shares when they started, looking to sell right away, you would have lost a good portion of your money, but if you were patient, your investment would have been rewarded exponentially, this is the reality of almost all ground-breaking technology:

No problem, wasn't sure what you meant, I did not think you were Fudding against us which is why I asked for a clarification and made sure others did not misunderstand where we stand Wink

I think you made a couple mistakes in your observations here, before you call me or others, a "dumbass".

First, although I didn't buy Syscoin in the initial offering, I mined it from the start.....and used Mintpal because of the association with Syscoin . I had no idea they were "that kind of exchange". I had used others in the past and thought I'd give them a try.
My original mining is still in my wallet. (and that's been thru a few changes huh)

Second, I had been mining other coins that were a higher profitability, converting to BtC and buying Syscoin, I had also bought 2 BtC and transferred to Mintpal to buy more........lots of it ...that became "trapped" when these yoyo's started their "upgrade" (Ha) to V2 back on Oct 1.

So, before you criticize some of the folks out here, you might think about some of us aren't dumb, just had the misfortune of doing what I did. I'm glad you're "rich enough" to not worry about any of your crypto....must be nice.

ps- one thing we do agree on its a long term deal.

Development Update

I hate to post this with so much positive sentiment going on but hopefully people see this as a commitment to quality - that's the truth of the matter.

We're still working with with the final 0.1.5 release candidate. We are not satisfied with the level of testing that has been performed against the current candidate codebase and are going to continue to test into this weekend (10/12) to verify things before we release anything to the public. Please do realize we really have been very busy trying to get this resolved properly ASAP. Thanks everyone for your patience- we learned our lessons at launch and aren't releasing anything that's not 100%. Blog has been updated accordingly and we have posted the news on our social channels.

(...) we simply entered a partnership for them to provide their escrow services.

Moolah provided us with access to their dev's in case of need or major fail.

We did not need it so far neither did the major fail occur.

To be clear we used one of their devs to help provide diagnostic information during the launch related to the launch issues that will now live in infamy. Their dev also helped us setup a proper DNS node for SYS which has and continues to work very well. Aside from those two points all other development on all Syscoin github initiatives (there are many if you have't noticed) have been done entirely by the Syscoin team including remedying all the launch issues expediently.

Per the Moolah statement linked to above- if one of us [devs] gets really sick or has a family emergency or something of that nature during a critical period for Syscoin or if Syscoin broke entirely and we did nothing about it or couldn't fix it- we have access to their developers for backup coverage during such situations. Neither of these situations have yet occurred.

Syscoin itself is an entirely independent open-source initiative/team. We are always looking for talented coders- especially C++ and Javascript/HTML/CSS experts with an interest in crypto. If this is you or someone you know, shoot me an email dan@syscoin.org. We are fun bunch but serious about making big moves in the crypto space in a professional manner. Our team is also one of the few coin-teams with the funding and vision to make that happen!

Hey everyone, just a quick follow up to danosphere's post. So I have just fixed the issue which caused dan and I to delay release. We're going to test it tomorrow and update everyone once we have a solid status.

On another bit of good news, I also finished the alpha version of the Syscoin assets service today.  Once the service launches, you'll be able to create all kinds of types of assets on the Syscoin blockchain... our asset service has a range of flexible dividend, convertibility, and supply control options that will allow you to create assets ranging from simple tokens to splittable - and mergeable - dividend-paying assets. I think it's pretty awesome, but I'm biased... Smiley  Sorry, no dates on that one yet other than "as soon as we can launch it right"

Thanks for your support, Syscoiners. I can tell you that the assets service is just the start for Syscoin; we have a service and feature set planned for the coin which I think is nothing short of revolutionary coming in our future.  But I'm not talking yet... just quietly accumulating SYS  Smiley

The only requirement is an already strong programming and general technical ability, and a real willingness and ability to learn things fast.
