Questions about Arbitrush:

1. Will you publish a whitepaper for Airbitrush?
2. Will you have the code audited/vetted by a trusted 3rd party?

3. Most importantly: Will there be a v2 of Arbitrush, perhaps more decentralized with regular nodes on the network acting as Arbitrush servers?

1.  In terms of the inner workings on the nodes?
2.  It would really depend on the 3rd party and we'd need a legally-binding NDA in that event and even so, that doesn't protect everything.
3.  I'm constantly thinking in the direction of improvement.  I have a few concepts I'm going to try to flesh out and if they prove themselves worthy - integrate them.

1. I suppose so. The paper will presumably lay out your original approach/solution.
2. Fair enough. So maybe an audit simply to determine the originality of code without disclosing its secret sauce.

Nevertheless: What about open-sourcing Arbitrush V1 once V2 is released? The code will almost certainly need to be open-sourced if people are gonna trust it .

3. Brilliant! Decentralisation FTW!

thanks syntaks

v1 and v2 aren't literally different software versions, it's more like "v2 - improvements from the previous version".  They're not separate distributions =)  We'll see about the code review and what can't/can be viewed.

The dedication is simply amazing.   Smiley

Edit: On a different note, people such as IE and Btcarchitect were talking #@!% about this coin when trading first opened. This is the reason why neoscoin isn't getting that much attention.

So whats next for neos? What new?

I started working on v2 just about right after the public release of v1.  A few things I can make mention of that are changing:

1.  Our logo's gotten a little makeover
2.  We have a designer now working on the wallet interface for v2 to make things easier to move around in and more intuitive.
3.  I'm coding a new streamlined setup process that's web-based to make it easier for folks to install and configure as well as customize the installation more.  You'll be able to modify a bunch of parameters like where the web wallet is stored, customize the RPC port, rpc user, rpc pass, etc.
4.  We're adding in so far: c-cex and potentially coin-swap into our trading system.  Any other exchanges that you'd like to see Neos on, please voice it to them and we'll include them in the v2 update.
5.  Some function improvements such as the way addresses are retrieved from the wallet to include them all, address labeling, managing both receiving AND sending addresses in the new interface.
6.  We'll be adding in aliasing.   You'll be able to register aliases and send by alias rather than by address.  For example you can send 10 NEOS to Jimmy instead of N2nDj4j09GjplNCJAKj3U3u322
7.  Block and connection information displayed on the dash
8.  Encryption lock/unlock functions
9.  Wallet backup from within the interface
10.  Market cap data on the dash
11.  IRC through tor in the wallet
12.  key import/export functionality

That's a short list, but there's plenty in the works.  v1 was expedited, so we couldn't really cram all of this in there in the time we had to get it out to you guys - but that's what post-launch time is for. =)

     Best regards,

syntaks

Wow this is quite amazing, this is really getting good. Im glad I got a bunch, I see the value of Neoscoin going nowhere but up for here thats for sure
hey just woke up... see chris how twoturtles takes care;)

as for the update on things to come, lol amazing and thats the short list thats coming very soon, wait and see the features that will blow everyones minds...arbitrush...

thanx for the update as usual keep it up!

^not +/-25% adjustment^

Also as example block 1383>1384 not +/-25% adjustment.

Is it "up to" +/-25% adjustment per block?

Everything looks OK to me on SHA-256. Difficulty as expected, no sign of fake hash, blocks moving right along.
