Yup, all the government has to do all day is seizing servers in a 3rd world country, a ponzi, which processes about 2-3 BTC per day /sarcasm First step to avoiding such scams in the future is accepting that you were scammed by a ponzi site with unoriginal exit scam strategy. Good 1

A scam will be a scam. It won't sustain in long run, cause they can't make $ for you at all, they don't have any business model or investment plans to make money grows. All they did is use other people's $ to pay other users, so those who earned $ is just from other victims... in short a vicious cycle. People KNEW, but they just dump their $ in hoping for a miracle.
Maybe I have to give another example for people who can't understand. It's like- Going down to dirty sewers looking for fresh air.

The website was not seized anyone who believes that is a complete idiot. The website was not even hosted in New York and on top of that its just an image look the page source. Knew this site was gonna scam ever since the New Years Mines were released, just as they were about to pay out the site gets seized. What a joke.
If it was seized, it was seized wrong. Makes the US courts seem stupid. ore-mine.org simply changed its landing page to "index.html" instead of the site it previousy set a shortcut to from their page.

the fact remains that the usa govt is broke and she is looking for someone to fraud. Funny I found this on a blog; the post was about another site which seized by the finance team. Ore-Mine might be a scam or not, but can't anybody see the bigger picture? As far as I see, most of seized websites are including crypto money. Isn't it mean that the target is crypto currencies but not the websites?

Hmmmm.... like a libertyreserve.com I have lost some money on liberty too...
Like x-value? X-value and libertyreserve. I had money on both. i still believe in x-value, but it is my personal. Maybe I will not see it again. I believed in it too, made 3x ROI so not mad, had almost finished empty my account. was waiting on the last shares to expire before it went down

Isn't it mean that the target is crypto currencies but not the websites? Either: it wasn't seized, or the US government ar every stupid/silly. The scam site ORe-Mine simply tried to scam initially, created their website, created another page (the landing page now) that people will confuse with their real website later. Usually will be shown after an offer has been purchased, such as 600 BTC purchase for mine. This was always a scam.

And magically 'busted' by 'US Govt'. Coincidence? I think not

It would seem the image is fake. Just a ruse to deceive the exit scam. You can see this wasn't on the Enforcement actions of FinCEN https://www.fincen.gov/news_room/ea/

Scammers love to put the sht to 'US Govt' or at least let people believe that... the 'US Govt' did it... Anyway, the timing is just too nice... after all mines sold and new yr mine.. oh.. they got busted... (So those bought new yr mine can NEVER get back their 'x2' coin)

well scam or not, i had only invested about .7btc from my hardeware mining. Its not a huge setback, but just delaying future purchases of more hardware and battery banks for the solar power ran mine
Mayne some people have money to waste People always like to rationalize by saying that the money was from a free source and that the power was free as well. Classic over rationalizing, in reality he probably lost all the bitcoin he had. People don't like to admit that they were scammed. Why do you think that you was scammed? Did not you know that investments are risky? I think, for a lot of users ore-mine was a good investments and they reached ROI and make good income. You are in a gambling section, do not forget about it.

If only others thought the same way. I wonder how many times they've heard it but still "If it looks like a ponzi, and is in Investors-based games, it is a ponzi"(added a touch of my own)
