New Windows LitecoinDark wallet (version 1.0.1)I've been working on several new additions and features for LitecoinDark, and we thought we were in need of a hard fork for this release; thankfully, this is not the case. This updated wallet does not require a hard fork and will continue to sync with the current network. The changes in 1.0.1 are minimal, as we have deferred any features requiring a hard fork until a later version. The Windows installer is also not quite ready yet, and so the zip file contains only the binaries and changelog, as well as the sha512sums of each of the files and the PGP signature for verification of the files' integrity. You'll note the changes are very minimal, and the primary purpose of this update is to get some solid checkpoints in place both prior to and post halving. There are many more updates to come in the near future, and I am happy to accept the role of developer on this project along with Robbert. Download: https://github.com/TrollByFire/LitecoinDark-Unofficial/releases/tag/litecoindark-1.0.1The original post should be updated to reflect this release, and should be available from http://litecoindark.com/ soon. IMPORTANT NOTE:The original client used the working directory as the coin's data directory and stored the blockchain, wallet, and config files there. Also the config file was named coin.conf -- THIS HAS BEEN CHANGED in this update to a more proper location under %AppData%. You will need to copy at least your wallet.dat and coin.conf into the new data directory and rename your coin.conf to litecoindark.conf. If it looks like you're missing coins, this is probably why. Make sure you make these changes before you get worried. The sources were built from the ltcd-1.0.1 branch on https://github.com/TrollByFire/LitecoinDark-Unofficial/ and changes will be integrated upstream ASAP. Thank you for all your support; we're glad to have such a great community behind us! updated, copied files over and sinc'd without a problem. Well done

Awesome! Congratulations and thanks for all your work with the wallet. Look forward to seeing what both you and Robert have envisioned for ltcd!

Looks as if the OSX wallet was built against upstream's master branch at HEAD. This won't sync due to some of the preparations we had made for the hard fork. I'll get an official OSX wallet up ASAP.

Looks like we've been noticed. Can you please update the github source so we can build the wallet? I'd like to get LTCD added to the bitops.me pool. I can also run a public node, but the compiled daemon from the git repo will not sync...

Until Robbert wakes, we can't merge into the official github -- only he has access to that repo. You can clone from https://github.com/TrollByFire/LitecoinDark-Unofficial.git -- this release is tagged litecoindark-1.0.1 Apologies for the mixup. We'll get it resolved ASAP.

Yeah I've been spamming the tweets for the last two days!! LOL
I just tweeted cryptsy to let them know it's been added to bittrex and to not miss out on their share of the trade volume!!
Should do the same for C-Cex!!

Thanks, I compiled that revision, but for some reason I'm still not able to sync to the network. I have all node IPs in this thread in my conf, and am certainly no stranger to running coin daemons for a pool server. Every node the daemon tries to connect to results in "connect() failed after select(): Connection refused" in the debug log Hoping to join the network tomorrow when there's a working linux daemon!

Odd, I have a working linux compile running on 24.199.222.230. Try adding this node to see if it helps. I'll look into it further. Can you provide a pastebin of the last 200 lines or so of your debug.log?
