+1 ？？ From what I understand, difficulty retargeting is currently set to change every 5 hours. This causes an situation whereby when the difficulty drops a multipool (100 GH/s traffic) hits the network thereby spiking the difficulty on the next difficulty change. Then on the next difficulty change, the multipool leaves due to the high diff and we are left in the situation you see now - low hashrate with a very high diff which equates to blocks taking much longer to solve. The developers are aware of this issue and are addressing it. |

+1 ？？ I think the diff is moving only every so many blocks and that fact that the blocks have been slowed to a crawl it will take awhile for it to retarget.... Im not sure exactly how it's set up or how many blocks are required before a retarget but even when it was going very fast in the first few days it was slow to retarget so given that fact it could be a very long time indeed before it retargets again... That said I am sure the dev's are looking into this as a priority!! Cheers, Ghosty |

It has to go to 8,000,000 to even be in the range of Bitcoindark and Darkcoin and we are blowing them out of the water with regards to volume even at this early stage of the game!! That would also mean the price would have to get to somewhere between .10 cents to .40 cents to catch Darkcoin in Mcap depending on how many coins are available it might even have to go higher!! |

I have a problem with LTCD windows wallet. I encrypted wallet and now it says wallet is lock but I can see all tabs and info. What is the difference when It is lock and unlock?
Also how to unlock wallet?
the wallet is the file wallet.dat ... when you "lock it" with plain password it is encrypted (I think with SHA256 algorithm or AES, i'm not sure in this case) ... this means that any transaction of sale or purchase on your wallet requires the entry of password (which you have to score on a well hidden txt file on your pc or even better is to keep on a uSB stick) .... how come it is better "lockin it"? in this way if a "thief" is able to copy your file wallet.dat is unusable for him with a wallet ( (otherwise he would have access to all of your addresses and private keys) ....) .... for unlock the wallet insert your password ! ^_^ |

It has been stated NUMEROUS times it is the multipools hitting the pool, driving the diff up. then dropping out since it isnt as profitable. It is being worked on.... ppl screaming scam that devs have a hidden pool. Yeah and he waited until the reward is cut and mining is NOWHERE near as profitable as 3 days ago.... |
