To give an idea of what I've done so far before I push these changes for review by the team:

• Re-fork Litecoin sources to start from a clean source tree.
• Update specs and network information to match LitecoinDark 1.0.1
• Update build dependency versions on Win32
• Added base implementation of adapted DigiShield clone on devel-1.1.0 branch (will not be published on master until thoroughly tested)
• Added DNS seed nodes (no more sync issues)
• Updated READMEs and documentation to properly credit dev team and give special thanks to other contributors and individuals
• Publish information on development Roadmap
• Core code cleanup and comments / documentation
• Started working on Doxygen code documentation
• Started working on Tor integration (largely untested, but a single connection & sync was performed)

So still very few major changes to the tree, aside from cleaning up the base code and inserting the difficulty algorithm changes.  Major changes will be prioritized based on community input from the poll.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and will be heavily considered before these changes are pushed to either github.

haha agree here, I think and all should agree, designer of SYNC coin logo (sorry for cross posting names of other coins only doing this for comparison and 0 promotion just extracting best of each and inject it here) is best in the business and logo yes is important.. that designer is phenomenal will ask for some reward of course.. but in my opinion will add to professionalism for sure..

looking him up right now, he is great

Perhaps something litecoin related a little with a dark theme? I noticed btcd kind of did the same thing in the beginning, with the D inside the B. A logo update could help the coin a great deal.

(engineering is by far most important though) anyways need to log off because you doing great things.. and bitcointalk just like cryptsy chat can eat loooots of valuable time.. but sure all of this is exciting I predict great things here (I predicted SYNC success when it was only 0.1 BTC

All you guys are right that Design is important, but as I guess it, its more important at this stage for the dev team to develop features and would rather have them doing that at the moment.
I think since this is a strictly community coin we will se bountyes re. design and marketing, but in this early stage i do not see it as the most important.

Yes, a red background with a dark L could really hit the spot. Thoughts? And I feel the same too about the logo. Turned me off but the name is what turned me on.

Yeah like btcd is now a swirl. Perhaps a greek L? with a dark theme. Maybe a red background with a dark, grey, greek L?

I like the metallic look as well, it says tough/solid. Maybe more detailed with the big L and a smaller D like it was a struck/forged coin? Guy should get paid for his time though Dev? Thanks for doing this.
