Okay so I'm new to this whole Nxt Wallet and after my issues with cryptsy I would like to buy and long term hold some assets off exchanges. So to buy and hold this
do I just buy asset 12071612744977229797 from my nxt wallet? Cause there seems to be lots of other talk of tokens and all kinds of other "assets" and exchanging of tokens....

Basicly I'd just like to buy something and if there is dividends collect them without messing around.... and if there is no dividend fine as well.

You can buy assets from the 'Asset Exchange' tab on the left side of the standard NXT html wallet - but-but-but: please be sure to do your diligence first! There are good assets and there bad assets, caveat emptor!

Yep, easy as that. Just be sure to choose a very very random passphrase. Preferably the one the client suggests for you, and maybe some of your own words added. And only log in on a pc that's free of password sniffers

There are no projects generating revenue yet afaik, so no dividends planned for those. Only dividends paid in assets.
