As an experiment I've set up a passthrough node in China that forwards to the solo pool. If there are any miners in China that wish to try it out, try mining to
Code:
stratum+tcp://cn.ckpool.org:80
And please report back how it performs for you.
Note I am not recommending this for anyone outside of China, they should mine directly to the solo address.

As far as I understand:
The display of the best share value is until I found a block.
In real life I would reset this value every time the block found message is published on the network.
That would enable me to see the luck I've got or not for the actual calculation going on.

You can't make it rain for everyone all the time Smiley

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Uh, what??

The current difficulty is 65,848,255,180 so the share was equal to or greater than that.

The 52 million is just since the reset after find the block.  Or is that what the "lol" was about? Smiley

Seems the mining industry will be centralized in the end, maybe not the right word,
but Bitfury etc and those that are putting a lot of money into asic design
are those who are able to rise with the difficulty level

And individual will only get "th"ph" by renting it

Incorrect maybe?

20 million when I began.  I earned 1 to 1.2 coins every day.  of course they were worth under 10 bucks.
