Thanks for the updates. DE is working for me right now just fine. I think what concerns my paranoid little mind (I'm a retired profiler w/lots of years of forensic experience) is that it could be a probe for a larger project. Watch your six, my friends.

What sort of larger target are you referring to? There have been ddos attacks on both ckpools in the last few days (kano and solo) so it seems pretty directed at us.

Stats server should be back up now as well. The main solo pool is behind a few extra layers now... sigh. This should not impact on mining performance but means you'll get a redirection and the actual solo.ckpool.org site is on a somewhat ddos protected server.

Yup...I understand. I'm sorta kinda not inclined to sound like a foil hat moron here on the forum, so I'll give the Reader's Digest version. Someone who had a mind to zap a number of servers in the BTC environment...for whatever reasons they may have, which can be completely irrational...would probably run a trial, and probably on what might be considered to be a stronger, more trusted site (like yours/ours). Success, whether minor or otherwise, would then be used to develop that larger approach. Of course, that logic is incredibly simplified when compared to reality, and so it would sound to me to be coming from a relatively unsophisticated, inexperienced young blackhat who doesn't comprehend their effect.

CK, I'm now having problems getting my rentals from Mining Rig Rentals to connect to the solo & de pools, I'm getting this message from their site:

Client.Reconnect

One or more of your pools issued a client.reconnect which is incompatible with our service. In order to keep our system from getting banned by the remote pool, we've temporarily disabled this connection.

Is there anything you can do, or should I reach out to their help desk? All my rentals have failed over to Kano's pool for the time being.
