See, the price went up even more, almost at $700. Now it all comes down to the fact whether it ll bounce back of continue to grow even more. Something tells me there s fuel for additional growth, maybe even to $800 which we ve had at the beginning of this year.

Still no new PACMIC contracts up yet? I really wish they would bring these back.

They have not launched these contracts and S9s yet?  It has been a long time.

Yea, its really weird.  Almost like they are more interested in other things.

There were good reviews about their contracts. I'm not sure what other things they are interested in. But they are a for-profit organisation with substantial hashrate. They are holding back definitely for self-serving reasons.

they just paid everything off from the V4. I had some 30% left on payment and now everything is back in my wallet.

Good guys. With the current pay-off rate, it would take some 12 months more.

Five Stars for Hashnest and Bitmain, really good company.

with the raise of btc i made $$$k.

and around 20% interest rate from hashnest for less then a year (they repay you for the total amount you invested even you are getting a part back continuesly)

"they just paid everything off from the V4. I had some 30% left on payment and now everything is back in my wallet."

Yeah, same here. I just happened to check today and was surprised to see it paid in full. Looked like it was going to take awhile at the original contractual terms, so I'm happy about that.

Not sure why they did this, but maybe they're looking to wrap up Hashnest? I wish we could get some clarity on that and where they're going with selling the physical miners too. Looks like they're sold out on S9 and R4 with no indication of the next available batch, and still no indication what's going on with Hashnest. If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say some whale may have just made them an offer for all their production for some specified period and that's why everything seems to have gone strangely silent for the rest of us.

I'd be curious to know if anyone is aware of any back channel hardware sales or any reliable rumors about what they are planning.

PACMiC V5 contract is released on HashNest today.

The PACMiC is the abbreviation of payback accelerated cloud mining contract, whose point is to accelerate the payback. Compare to other cloud mining contracts, PACMIC will accelerate the payback with much less time.

The price of PACMIC V5 is 1BTC per contract, and there is 6TH/s hashrates in each contract. The contract will take effect immediately after the user completes the payment successfully. After the contract takes effect, the user starts to get profit from cloud mining of 6TH/s hashrates, and it will distribute the profit by PPLNS in antpool while Bitmain will pay for the maintenance and electricity fee. While distributing the shares, it will provide the interest as 0.45 satoshi/BTC/S to user firstly, and the rest will be used to pay back the principal. The contract will end when the principal get fully paid back.

Know more about PACMIC V5 by visiting our official site : www.hashnest.com

The autobuy just reinvests the payout back into the PACMiC to increase your hashrate.  You won't actually be paying down the balance on the principal if you select this option.

Running some simulations, I am getting about 3.25% APR on these contracts.  Not very good at all.  That is by far the lowest they have every offered.

3.25% s not good, there is risk involved and I would not touch this for this low amount of APR.

Yea, now that is a rough calc, its been pretty close on other others, except for V4, which it was way off because difficulty spiked up a LOT.  It also doesn't take into account whether the investment will pay everything back or not, it just assumes you will get paid back.  So yea, lots of risk, not that high of a reward, I will probably stay away from this one.

Isn't the V5 likewise the same conditions as the V4? I remember the V4 also being 0.45 sat/BTC/s ?

Perhaps I might have understood the Pacmic's not entirely sure (I only did some late V3's and early V4's); as how I understood them, is that the rate is fixed (the sat/BTC/s); so, the factors determining the profits would be 1) the time between the blocks and 2) the amount of hashes of the contract. Am I correct on this one, or did I miss something?

All other contracts were 1TH per contract, this one is 6TH per contract. I did a v3 contract and was very happy with results. Stayed away from V4 and not on the fence about v5.

I do remember the V3's being 1TH indeed, but I couldn't remember how much the V4's were; thank you for clearing this up, now it makes sense to me again  Smiley

So anyone buying these v5 contracts? 3.25% is low for the risk so I am undecided at this point, but maybe better then just sitting in my Trezor.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all of these contracts have returned the initial investment.  BITMAIN will likely stay in business for the duration of your contract, but their is always risk involved.  I personally would drop the coin if it were just sitting on my Trezor.  If you don't have a total aversion to risk, it's a pretty safe play.

If you are a buy and hold guy.  This is a decent place to hold for the next 120"days.

I only did one coin of my coins.

I made 2.5 on the v3 contracts, but those has double the bonus. I just put down 1/2 my coins into the v5 since I don't expect to buy any HW anytime soon and will be selling off my GPU rigs in a couple months. Better then earning zero in my wallet.

I'm pretty sure they do; roughly a week ago they announced being in the process of building the second-largest datacenter in the world (!), of which Bitmain themselves will occupy a good deal of them  Smiley

Wow good news! It will only confirmed Bitmain position on the market and investment security with them!

Can you provide link to the source, or tell us where we can find informations about this investment?

If hashnest had some good support i would be happy to become and stay their custumor.
But from what i have learned they only want your money. If they have it, they just ignore you.
