Keeping track of all different alt coin wallets was annoying And I don't trust exchanges.

good decisions because using exchange aren't secure any longer because most of them are very vulnerable to be hacked and possibility for lose your altcoins is very big

Its a huge lesson one to take, esp even if it doesnt effect you am I right.

Esp when a major alt exchange goes down, everything is questionable. This similar how when mt.gox just blew up everyones face with bitcoin being the only solid exchange.

I don't think anyone should be keeping anything on any of the exchanges. And that includes altcoins.  I just trade the major ones that have convenient wallets.  I don't trust any of the exchanges.

to be honest some time ago i traded 4 different cryptos, but recently i changes everything to bitcoin only, because it is most popular one and really predictable, also it is much easier to buy/sell 1 crypto then 4 different ones, and also i did this because of halving, because i am pretty sure that price will rise

today Im invest at RDD coin buying arround 2btc at 12sat waiting the price hit 30sat like last year
i think invest at altcoin is not bad idea if you know the reason of value it.

invest at altcoin isn't bad idea if you know that's coins have good development but many altcoin die fast after their coin launch to market

But as we trust in Bitcoin, having a cent percent trust on alts is not possible. I believe trading with alts at times to grab profit and investing into bitcoin could surely be highly profitable.

nah, i would never leave the altcoin market, it is too good to get out. when Ethereum goes to hell there is 10 other coins to get into and when those 10 go to hell there is another 10 or maybe ETH again with a dead cat bounce.

anyways i think it is too soon to move back to bitcoin 100%, but i am monitoring it closely

Honestly ETH still an altcoin and i think it will stay as altcoin is just the same as lisk they are just promoting it in many way social media here in our forum in their forums and other forums.. thats why the price of lisk and ethereum is fast and now the price of this two altcoin is fast decreasing too and i think.. bitcoin is still remain and the best..

I think we all trade with alt coins just to earn more bitcoins. As I see situation just rear people hold alt coins. I agree that its possible only at certain time, you need to wait for pumping and to dump on time.
Two days ago I traded with DES, bought it for 20k sold it for 32.5k, after that DES touched 35k and finished on 20k. Its same with all alt coins, you catch the train or you don't. But with trading its like with gambling you need to know when to finish ride.
Ethereum and monero are nice coins, I also follow news about this coins. Ethereum had a nice ride, but will there be one more? Its a big question. Personally I expect to fall a bit more before any big rise.

But its better you sold too early then never.

Weren't there some coins on places like Cryptsy that didn't even have functioning block chains any more? If I'm trading little amounts there's no way I'm gonna bother with a proper wallet. I'll take the risk with the exchange.

Not a big difference if you had 5% only in alts or not, it is still good idea to go from alts to bitcoin only,  because bitcoins is probably best coin

Not because it is old, but because it is easy to predict price, for example price rise in July after halving, but anyway it is good that you sold your alts

i will never go fully out of altcoin market because there is a lot of good coins there to but and hold short time for a big profit but now is a very good time to go mostly in bitcoin because of the price rise because of the halving and other things that will happen soon.
