Now your just exposing your incompetency. It will be easy for an experienced programmer to adapt with new code, since a lot of building blocks for a program is almost the same. PHP and Java, both have variables, if-else, loop, you name it.

Understanding code is one thing, but apprehending the context is another.

It wouldn't be difficult if enough documentation provided. As I have asked the dev to create a wiki for the community to join force in development previously, only to find it fall to a non responsiveness. Look at bitcoin developer documentation for instance [1], from there, a lot of third party app like bitcoin Android Wallet may existed.

That would certainly speed things up with low costs if none costs at all...

Sorry for not responding earlier. Is there any template for this, or do you think Wiki engine will be enough?

Very interesting developements. Whatever problems Blocknet may have had i think this could well be good for Craig.

I wish I knew more about Blocknet. All this tech seems to be so far beyond my comprehension. So I'll try my best to rationalize it as I see it currently.

Please help me out in understanding the potential here...

So lets say CraigsCoin is on the blocknet and Craigscoin has built in tag and filter system...
The official website associated with CraigsCoin http://list.craigscoin.info/ would stay "open public ledger" as much as possible so as to keep the main website associated with the coin global and with no bans other than countries that already have restrictions on digital currency. We can't create silkroad 3.0 - as that would be very bad for all of us as investors wanting to back a lawfully abiding system.

So my question is... a lot of the coins on blocknet have no greater desire than to stay anonymous with their money and transactions - and hey, if that's what they want (as I'm a registered libertarian) then they have that right! But now with blocknet system in place, are we saying that they could use the ad feature and a filter system separated from the main website filters and tags for their own website filter system that is basically completely anonymous?
Meaning that if I wanted to post an encrypted message on the blockchain through the blocknet token system integrated with CraigsCoin, that ad will be viewable by all in the wallet, but only readable by those that are connected to the encryption code associated with their website? And they would be the only persons viable for there potential legal/illegal transactions?

Any thoughts? Am I seeing this right?
I mean don't get me wrong, as an analogy, just look at the cell phone - it is a great invention but it can also be used  by bad people to create a bomb. Doesn't mean it's still a good invention as a whole!! Wink

If my assumption is right, please give me another 3 weeks to buy up more cheap Craigs!! Grin

This could be very interesting indeed. Aside from my own wonders, your thoughts could create many many more possibilities...

1) Anon ads that can't be associated nor affiliated with CraigsCoin main website.
2) Decentralized exchange where Blocknet token users can utilize CraigsCoin ad feature (which is already functional) to post buy and sell orders for blocknet coins, even if they don't have a CraigsCoin wallet to see the ad posted. Blocknet coins would have minimal tx fees included, while coins outside blocknet will have higher tx fees?? This way any coin in the blocknet that 'wants' to try and create a built in marketplace can just focus their dev energy on other more important tasks?
3) Possible encrypted coding storage for blocknet "eyes" only?

I don't know, just throwing my ideas out there!

Cheers,
Craig

What if Zembeck (misspelled for a reason) gets on board and licenses out his smart contracting tech priced per a percentage from transaction fee? From reading up on him, it sounds like he'd like to get paid for all his coding services and I don't blame him! The clock is ticking before someone simply tries to absorb his tech and implement it themselves, let alone what BTC's crew is already creating. Yet he took months to birth this baby - smart contracting sounds like it's not as simple as A+B=C

Point being is that if he were involved and being paid fairly for it,  he can continue to create on top of his existing system that would make CraigsCoin that much more amazing.

Again, just throwing out thoughts!

Cheers,
Craig

hi, would someone please explain simply what joining Blocknet would mean for Craigscoin.

hi , a bigger userbase for craigs unique feaures and the possibilty to earn fees for craigs owners. those coins that will attract alot of cross use by other coins ( trying the feature) should also expereience rising buy pressure. a coin that is used alot of an ever growing userbase is an attractive long term hold.
so its also an advertising vehicle and if one is confident in the competitivness of his coin on or off blocknet he should be all for joining this type of networks.

I'm under the impression that it is still unclear for some why BLOCKNET is beneficial to ITO holders and holders of involved coins particularly XCurrency.

I have created a few slides that hopefully in a less technical way shows the benefit and service of BLOCKNET.

Remember money and service flows through the path of least resistance. Why download several wallets risking the chance of a trojan, using web exchanges to hold your bitcoins when you can just download a blocknet supported wallet that you trust and get the benefit of not just many services but choice among them.

I have added the XC logo on slide headers to please my own ego, but this is 100% a community contribution and my own interpretation of BLOCKNET from an XC perspective.
edit: On the first slide I've only added current available services I could find a screenshot of. Add all services present & future and good luck getting it crammed into a one-pager.

From the Blocknet forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.480

Of all these coins who do you think is the best to invest and why?

SX, Sonic, Fibre, Next Horizon, bitswitch, apex, utilitycoin, librex, stealthcoin?

"SSD – First steganograpic anon transaction over mobile.  This means that you can embed a transfer of SSD into an image that you take from your mobile and not have it traced – the image doesn’t suggest that a transaction has occurred.  That is pretty freaking stout in my opinion.  Development ongoing.

XST – World’s First anonymous SMS transaction.  Again, a mobile transaction that is anonymous. Development ongoing (this is a theme with everyone here so I won't repeat it).

APEX – In wallet developments – everything from social networking to casinos.  Aggressive dev team with an eye towards enabling web merchant transactions within their wallet.

UTIL – Content filtering to protect exit nodes from malicious and illegal content.  A great business feature.

SWIFT – geoSwift, a way to GPS locate and connect sellers/buyers via mobile.

LXC – Working on BlueTooth transactions…meaning mobile transactions without internet connection.  Sidechain research and implementation planned.

FIBRE – An Aggressive dev team that has already created their own OS and have integrated FibreLock (an android style password system that renders keyloggers obsolete) into a BTC Modded wallet in addition to their own.

NHZ – Asset Exchange and further expansion of NXT code."

what they each bring to the table, it's upto you to decide which you would invest in

I'm just passing this quote along so we can all look upon what these other coins bring to the table from blocknet if we join up with them.
Lots of possibilities.
I'll be brainstorming anything else I can think of that CraigsCoin can add to these coins, and I hope you do as well.

The whole concept is still so hard to grasp - as in integrating all these features into possibly one functional system yet independent of each other. Shocked

Cheers!

Is CraigsCoin constructed with POS 2.0 tech?
If not, could that be added to the endless list of things to do? Smiley

Craigscoin community has come a long way. Just needs more development. Craig should put more money back into the coin to get it moving and generate interest. The concept was a good one. I like some of these ideas you guys are having.
