i have used bittrex for long time, and never ever had problems with them. Also support tickets were answered in time, and everything went well.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Security is very important now, there are many crackers who steal money from exchangers. However, I never use bittrex again now, I prefer hitbtc. Hitbtc is better for me. I used to trade at bittrex, since there were many issues apear, I withdraw all my money from there.

Hi,

We have reviewed your account. It looks like someone else logged into your account and sold all of your coins and then tried to turn on 2fa in order to withdraw your funds. We recently added email authentication to turn on 2fa which most likely stopped this person from withdrawing the BTC.

We always recommend using a complex unique password and turning on 2-factor authentication.

Here is the login info of the person who must have your username and password.

Thank you,

Ryan

fuck me, lost all 2.2btc

Sorry to hear about your loss. If i were you I would use the IPs to trace who logged in from where to access your account. Also try and think about who would know your password. Sometimes the answers pop up in the most unexpected places/ways.

I know bittrex is not a scam exchange and I already used their services before with no issues, some post here showing that you are being hacked and lost your money and it can't be recovered anymore, it so sad and i'm sorry for your loss.

According on Your Problem :

1. Are you already activated 2FA ?
2. if that's problem true. you must be emailed from bittrex if any unusual activity

as long as I using bittrex, there's no trouble. and I can say Bittex is the safest exchange I ever use.

Thanks there is another people like me. It's clearly FUD for me, very low proof but a sexy title thread. Only to influence people to runaway from this exchange... for another.

I would choose my post more carefully though. Although I don't particularly like Bittrex or any other exchanges in general I've got to say they look after their costumers.  I had to file support tickets a few times before and got them resolved in a professional way.  They may be expensive but give you a top quality service. Sad to see ppl loosing their funds due to lack of 2FA turned on. 2.2 BTC is a very expensive lesson. I'm sorry for your loss mate. Sad

Perhaps your loss is due to caution. All the coins disappeared from my friend's wallet. When he began to analyze the situation, he came to the conclusion that he himself was to blame. He came to the exchange from his working laptop. Most likely not cleaned the cache. Maybe the sysadmin saw his latest actions on the Internet. Then he loaded the VPN. And that's all. Money is gone, VPN leads to a third world country.

Lol. Bittrex is earning millions a day in fees. People really think they are stealing from accounts with 1 or 2 Bitcoin... that's like absolutely no money for them and if true they would risk losing all income for trading.

You guys are seriously idiots calling Bittrex a scam. You just gotta activate 2fa and use different passwords than the same you use on other shitty protected platforms like bitcointalk.

It was reported that several wallets and exchanges, including blockchain.info and bittreks were hacked from the inside. And the problem is most likely in bitcoin gold, which probably brought a virus-cracker or a weak resistance to burglary.

Their website was recently hacked and took a lot of coins from Bittrex deposit wallets so there's a lot of customers that are currently on fire asking the support why it's happened so you better ask support rather than accusing them that they're scamming their clients because Bittrex.com is the top Crypto-currency exchange until today.

They're freezing mostly of the accounts because their system was somehow hacked by one of their clients so be careful on accessing your own account because they're doing their part to protect their credibility as the top Crypto-currency exchange.
