Can someone create an address with as many X's possible and a valid checksum?

You can check source code of http://xdnwallet.com/ page to understand an address generation process better. There we have a pure JavaScrypt XDN address generation.

First of all, lets be clear with your needs. If i understand you correctly, you need to "burn" some XDN, or other CN coin?

In general to burn some coins, you need to make a "burning transaction".

There are several ways to do so, i will describe a few of them, according to your question:

1. Take some text, find its hash, convert that hash to open key.

2. Take some another text 2, find its hash, convert that hash to open key

3. Now you have 2 open keys without a possibility to find secret key.

4. Convert 2 open keys to public address, this is a burning address.

Another way:

Take an open keys that contains only "0", make an address from that keys. That is it
