Hello, New to the business. Yes, I consider this a business. Finally came across KanoPool, get the feeling its an honest pool. Thank God. I am currently running 2 - Ant S7s on the pool. May I ask of the community. What are some realistic expectations that I should have? I would like to upgrade to two S9s, with mining proceeds. Am I looking at months, maybe a year, before that will happen? With the assumption I just keep hashing on Kano's pool and keep the faith? By summer, will have built up my solar / battery array, to power operations. 1800W 24VDC to 48V 600AH battery bank and out 4KW 110VAC on 2 - 20A lines to the house. Hoping this will be sufficient to continue mining off the grid. Would also like to hear from someone who has done something similar. Off thread of course. After going through my PM phase, I am late in the game when it comes to crypto's. But it is definitely the future. Just wanted to thank Kano's Pool for the opportunity. Thank you for any feedback. Welcome to the pool!!! I'll leave it to some of the more knowledgeable /long-time members to answer your questions! Mine On!

I moved .05 BTC from BTC.com to Coinbase on May 3. It was pending on Coinbase for 2 days and then it's gone. BTC.com sent again (automatically) on May 7. It has 283 confirmation now but it still does not show at Coinbase. Does anyone know whether the .05 BTC will eventually arrive at Coinbase? Thanks!

Started at Kano with 3 S7's at the end of 2015, after a year of hashing could afford an R4, and now about 5mo from that I could get 3 S9's. But all of that includes price appreciation of BTC itself for the "buying power" and lower mining difficulty from the past.

Passthru update completed as planned.
It finished 30s late coz I started the upgrade 2 minutes later than expected. Late start was due to waiting on a linux upgrade to complete, that I started as close as possible to the server upgrade to avoid an extra outage if there were some problems with the linux upgrade.
However there were no problems and now all is upgraded and running with the hash rate back up also.

You would use the same username, with different worker names appended i.e.: Username.worker1 and Username.worker2 etc... Underscore works also (Username_worker3)

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70 Pushing a whopping 1/5 PH! Oh The SPEED!!!

You can do it both ways, you can set up MyAccount.MyWorkers and monitor them separately on your end, or you can set up MyAccount.MyWorker1and MyAccount.MyWorker2 and monitor them separately at the pool site. I imagine, that's not really the answer you were looking for, but it's all a matter of preference.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer. Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

Yep as they both stated above your post Specifically: Separate worker names means you see them separately on the Workers->Workers page and 'can' see them separately on the Workers->Shift Graph The Workers->Management page is pretty much pointless and best ignored unless you have very old miners that have problems with difficulty (or use a proxy and have LOTS of miners)

I send coins of varying amounts all the time from my Core wallet to my Coinbase account. Coinbase only requires 3 confirmation before it is considered "confirmed". The only reason I can think of that you are having problems is that it was sent with too low of a transaction fee. I don't know anything about BTC.com or how they operate, but I have never had any difficulties sending coins to coinbase. On the one or two occasions that I have sent the coins from Core to Coinbase with a low fee (I didn't care how fast it arrived), it was available in Coinbase (after 3 confirmations) within about 12 hours. I would check your fee's and see if it was low. From what I recall from earlier today there were MANY transactions in a backlog. Good luck! EDIT: I realized this occurred over a week ago, but there are currently 124,990 unconfirmed transactions in the mempool and the optimal fee is 0.00218603 BTC per /kb. ( I don't trust the optimal fee calculators. I just use my common sense depending on how fast I want the transaction to become available.)
