Yowza! BTW...I get free electricity...but only 30A of it. If one lives in Venezuela (as I hear it from a relative living there), the power is free...but the authorities are not real hot on their citizens using it to mine BTC. ...as I hear it.  |

Fact. Bitcoin simply processes valid transactions - valid due to having the 'Key' to make the transaction. As it should. |

Nope...110V. It's a subsidized housing project, w/extensive voltaic power, so they limit the available amps to the residents for obvious reasons. I'm really the exception on how much juice I consume here. No complaints, though. I appreciate what I have...and datacenters in far-away places with hydro power...  I run a 721 and a 741 here; also have a couple of heavy workstations and network storage, so the microwave, toaster, and hair dryer are on more or less permanent hiatus. |
