I am pretty sure people who value anonymity would be willing to jump through hoops.

You entirely miss the point that if the n00bs think they are protected, then later are attacked or told they are not, they will run the government's coin and good riddence to that horrible mistake they made to trust.

Don't go fucking around. This is why i am a developer of mass adopted software and you are not.

Lol you can't protect everyone. Stop trying to save the world and perhaps deal with your little world first okay?

Fucking around? Lol not sure what you are talking about.

No this is why you are a guy on a forum who likes to post a lot and appears to enjoy listening to yourself while using big words appearing to understand everything but at the same time missing the point that you can't save everyone from making a common mistake using crypto coins.

I am sure that there is one person that misused the software you developed for mass adoption. Please save me the "I am better than you attitude".

DuckNote changed to DarkNote. ... Funny that they chose to go with the 2014 altcoin vogue tag of 'Dark' though.

Good reason to name your coin with one syllable (or not a concatenation of two words) so copy cats can't ride your coat tails. Why didn't Darkcoin just name it Dark? Now we have BitcoinDark, DarkNote, Darkcoin.

Honey can you send me some dark, I am low on funds.

That statement is funnier with ducks or fucks or shivers.

"Can you send me some fucks?"

"I'm all out of fucks to give, sorry."

Don't forget Litecoindark, Dogecoindark, and Darkcash.

Even we have been victim of darking:

But if a currency that requires you to jump through hoops to remain anonymous in the future doesn't attract the masses who don't like to jump through hoops you'll end up with a low velocity illiquid highly volatile low value unusable currency. I think that was his argument, which I didn't see anyone destroy yet.

I just recently saw a kids program (Arthur). The kids had to build a model of their future town. One of the kids wanted to design the best stadium for the town. All the kids started building the models and this one girl started researching, planning, researching some more and more and more.... you see where this is going. The time ran out and all the kids had theirs ready and she didn't.

TFM- you are so far above me in intelligence- I don't understand half the things you are talking about. But it seems you are a great theorist and less of an action person ( don't go showing that website from 10 years ago).  Just go create your ultimate coin and then amaze us all. When that happens I am sure you will have everyone's support .

This.  It is not productive to be poking holes unless you have a horse in the game.  From what I can tell TFM follows whatever project he deems the most likely to succeed at taking the defacto anonymity cryptocurrency status and tries to poke holes in it.

Which is great but this works so much better if you bring your own solution to the table.  It's like critiquing the horse that is winning the race while you sit in the stands and drink your beer.  And you bet on no horses.

I mean  WTF?

I DO look forward to your solution (if you have one) - it will be the only serious contender (possibly) w cryptonote

There is a rumor that Corel could be used to alter a document... shhh!

This is his 2nd exit. He will be back ....  maybe with his new coin.

"We are just fools. We insanely believe that we can replace one politician with another and something will really change. let's take our hint from nature..how did it program/create the ultimate currency of all time (gold and silver), what is its chemical/atomic/molecular mambo jumbo? and can we have a mathematical interpretation to it? and apply it to cryptography, block chain, then coin?...

humans tried to duplicate and create gold through time, even with advanced technology but failed..diamonds btw were created successfully.

i dunno stuff like the scientific/mathematical guys out there, but maybe nature can guide us..just like the time when humans watch birds and now we have planes.

Humans have successfully created gold at this point. The only problem is it costs a vast amount more to create the gold than what the current price is.

The fact of the matter is that there are off chain anon coins you can use now. Why screw around with on chain anon when an off chain anon solution there is no risk if it isn't centralized in a sense that it is going thru one company, server, etc.

TFM is completely correct. Why? You are putting information about your identity on a PUBLIC LEDGER!!

TFM has said it over and over, and no one has said ONE THING that makes any sense otherwise. Why are you doing it when it is not necessary?

More importantly, why are you doing it when there are other options?

Monero will be attacked. I think this is all I need to know.

Let's not forget that AnonyMint is, in his own words, a man of analysis, not solutions. He's threatened everyone with his ubercoin for at least a year now. As we say on the Internet, tits or GTFO.

Analysis is always welcome, of course.

As long as that is all people are really saying here. Unfortunately, I don't think that is the case. I don't even see a CN coin getting adopted by the underground community, much less are any hopes of mass adoption.

It is simply a game of cypto hot potato!! lol

Speculation yes, serious anon no
