Hello world,

i was informed, that the code has a rounding error, after going into the "stationary" phase. The rounding should now be fixed. Everybody that is running into some error while mining, please download the new sourcecode. Fix is not included in the windows wallet jet.

This breaks the daemon for me running on Xubuntu 64bit - it compiled fine but crashes instantly when started. I've reverted back to the previous version & everything is fine again.

Who told you this change was needed?

Thank for the information. Somebody send me an email that there was an error during mining and it sounds reasonable so i changed the check for the connect block but at the wrong line. Now i did set it back. maybe the guy is mining with the p2pool for wlc...

No its not c-cex  . Just someone, though i wonder what he is exactly doing.. however, can you please check if you have set some min tx fee with your mining? There are several transactions now that are in mempool but not included into some block and i dont see any other troubles with them but having no special fee inserte. Thank you..

According to the getinfo command:

This is with both the older client & the latest git version with commit 31cac2d, which compiled & is running fine btw.

Thanks for looking into, but "patxfee" is only used if you send coins.

For txfees tune bitcoind for more income by editing bitcoin.conf:

minrelaytxfee=0.00001

is important.

Hello World,

because i did not write any update in the last few weeks, here is what is new:

- I try to convert the Abe block explorer for WLC. This is not an easy task as i have not too much knowledge about serialization of the Blockchain in phyton. More details are here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=22785.1000

- For anybody having problem with mining (Errormessage: Coinbase pays too much) please edit Line 4949 in main.cpp to:
 pblock->vtx[0].vout[0].SetInitialValue(RoundAbsolute(nBlockReward, ROUND_TOWARDS_ZERO) -1 );
Although i am not sure where this error comes from this should be a usable workaround.

- I'd thought, that transactions were not coming through due to some flaw in the code. But after analyzing the memorized transactions pool and looking at the code i found that the sendmany rpc command is not adding fees so it last quite a while for the transaction to be included in a block.
Problem is here that i did send the Basic income transaction 3 times, what means that for the next 2 month only newcomers will receive a basic income.

- I am planning to start a new campain: "Support your Favorite Artist" where you can send your favorite artist to us and we publish an account for the artist where everyone can send WLCs to, to support the artist.

- We are looking forward to collaborate with usbitcoinservices.com in Mexico.

- The simple POS for WLC is progressing slowly.. At the moment i have too look deeper into serialization to serialize the POS address correctly.

- The ATM at www.c-cex.com is back online again (many thanks to p3yot33at3r).

For everybody that had problems during mining with the Windows-client. I compiled the actual version again, just in case there were any mistakes during the last compiling. I uploaded the new version at winc-ev.org.

Note: I worked on the Abe for WLC but could not get it loading past block 12322. Freicoin however is working with my fork at https://www.github.com/worldleadcurrency/bitcoin-abe , so i guess it is something about the merge mining/ the many coinbase transactions in the parent blocks.

WLC's trading very slow on c-cex and the price is cheap, 40k is bad for this coin,,, hope price will rise up and hope trading will go fast....

Hi Apriand,

as most stock market sceptics and some insiders state there is a much more difficult global situation than back in 2007. The banks have only a small part of the assets they had and even more liabilities leading to a much higher risk for default. Shanghai composite index had lost nearly half of its net worth and money is cheap as never before building up enormous boubbles of loans for houses and investments.

Over all it leads to a very dangerous situation. The next big crisis will definitively increase the awareness for the flaws in our monetary system. Bitcoins/Altcoins will then be booming again like in 2013/14 and most coins will rise in price.

As WLC offers a unique combination of demurrage/unconditional income and a legal ground, because of the voucher structure it definitively has the chance to increase drastically in price.

Ok rik, today i bought some wlcs and ill wait price rise up again,,, maybe need more promote in c-cex chat box like tip or made giveaways there to pump trading volume, but sorry now i cant because yesterday i wd my btc's and now i cant chat there, because my balance under 0.1btc.

Or need to add another market to got some buyers,,,
Im sorry just i think this coin is bad for current price.

Hi Apriband,

lets hope for the best. But although the price is an important indicator the real and even more important challenge is to get merchants to offer their products for WLC. Because this is what the cryptocurrencies are all missing: an active exchange of goods against currency. And so this is the most important job of WLC.

More exchanges are always better, but this either costs BTC or Votes or both. And the most of my time is floating into developments.

I like the idea of UBI. but as a cryptocurrency, how will WLC be able to attract people into using it if the system will take away from their wallet regularly?

Hi iTradeChips,

easy answer here. Most of all people are poor. When everyone pays 20% of their money every year, for the poor its cheap for the wealthy its expensive.

And as the money flows back to all people in form of a basic income the coin could attrackt those that are underprivileged in our modern monetary system - which are at least 80%.

But people are far more interested in short term gains than a stable, fair system, so it is hard to attract the people and the main task will be to clarify the fraud of the fiat money system (Bitcoin is no solution) that only serves the rich and leads to a collapse of the whole economy by definition.
