Hello everybody,
crackfoo and me have seen that Terracoin and WLC have the same ChainID return 0x0011. To change that there have to be a hard fork, does anybody have any retention against it?
I would like to include that the long numbers are cutted into 8 digits, what also would need a hard fork.
Rik
Ah! This is what's causing my problems when merge mining WLC & TRC on the same p2pool node - I end up having to stop mining one or the other coins. It would be nice if this issue was solved, so if a hard fork is what's needed - so be it. EDIT: Unforttunately I've had to stop mining WLC because of this issue. I will start mining WLC again as soon as the code is fixed.

Sorry about that, we (Terracoin) weren't aware anyone else was using that ChainID. Is it going to be a huge ordeal for you guys to hard fork? We just hard forked a little bit ago and I would hope we wouldn't have to do it again for a while. Does it need to be a mandatory update or just for people who mine?

The coin stays the same, but i want to use another name. I am waiting at the moment for the new symbol to be drawn and am working on a onlinewallet that you can access within facebook messenger. So i can only ask for a little bit more time. Hi clockuniverse, thats ok. But as there is not enough interest in social cryptocurrencies at the moment i am alone and everything last much longer than it could, but we are on the way.. And yes of course it is a must have update when you wanna mine both. Otherwise the wallet will also accept blocks mined with the old wallet. Rik

Sorry i hadnt had the time to post. Income december is payed:
d1782227f11dbf8e8afacc3db03dd825c8f6def718f679010f79dd0780a25080
The verified site is running again. I had some complication with my provider, so it wasnt possible to bring the backup on-line.
And as a last info C-Cex delisted WorldLeadCurrency. It was not on the list and i did not receive anything in my emails. I think they made a mistake. But hard to prove and harder to rewind it. I dont know what they were thinking or if it was bad luck but i did not receive any information on this topic yet and i am sure that i did not get any notification saying it will be delisted!
If they answer my email i will let you know.
Greetings Rik.

C-Cex answered my email saying that it was announced to be delisted correctly. The problem was that the updated list did not contain WLC anymore, so i thought it would not be delisted.
However the real problem is that the trading volume is very low and not enough people where interested in, so i will accept what happend though it makes it much harder for the miners to mine the coin profitable.
Another thing: the seed node i used had to be restarted and now its not working anymore. The NS record can not be seen from outside my webpage configuration. Is there anyone familiar with this topic?

I was surprised to see it go too actually, but was able to withdraw my coins from the ledger page - so that's good.
Maybe now would be a good time to fix the conflicting chainID issue so that WLC can be merge mined with other coins. This would ensure more miners can mine it & in turn attract more users I'm sure. Better to do it now & ensure everything is working OK before getting listed on an exchange again I think....?

The patch is ready,
as this will introduce a hard fork as soon as the first block with the new ChainID is mined and the new version will be online by the end of the week, everybody please secure your cryptovouchers. As c-cex.com is delisting WLC please withdraw your coins asap.

I've compiled am am running the new client, but am getting this error while trying to merge mine with p2pool: 2016-12-14 11:43:15.890711 > Error while calling merged getauxblock on http://127.0.0.1:45888/: 2016-12-14 11:43:15.890886 > Traceback (most recent call last): 2016-12-14 11:43:15.890964 > Failure: twisted.internet.error.ConnectionRefusedError: Connection was refused by other side: 111: Connection refused.

I tried downloading a new blockchain, but got the same error. Hi, my guess is that you are using wrong port. The standard rpc port is 55888, 45888 is for testnet. Until you changed the port you maybe have just entered the wrong port entered. But can you please wait till the weekend to use the new client? I want to make sure that everyone has time enough to withdraw and updated the client, so everyone is on the right chain? Thanks a lot, Rik.

Ok, is see we are on the new chain. So as long as C-Cex are not updating the withdrawal will not be possible anymore. The good news is that the patch seem to work without problems (Can you please confirm IconFIRM that mining also works without problems?). The first block on the new chain is 74517 (74516 is the last that is still accepted by the old client). The new Windows client is available at https://www.winc-ev.org/english/downloads-contact/. The electrum server is not updated yet. I try to look into this in the evening. Thanks everyone for helping, Rik.
