WTS 500 for 1.5 BTC private message

that's double the current price. You ask for 0.003 each while the price is 0.0015

You will not get a clear answer for date. Don't expect time too.

Hi All,
i have a noob question regarding the growth period.
i have mined about 6 seed coints and i see it growing.

i wanted to know that if i by more seed coins on bittrex. will they be growing as well?

I assume so. I'm a bit of a noob to all this too though.

I think they will stake 24 hours after you have them in your wallet.

You have 4 days left so if you want some staking I'd hurry up Smiley

Once you buy seeds and move them to your wallet, they have about 24 hours until they mature (are capable of staking). Once mature, they build weight in the network. Larger stacks of seeds build weight more quickly. A smaller stack (I had a stack of 5 seeds take about 32 hours to stake, and a stack of 0.3 seeds that has not yet staked in over36 hrs) takes longer to stake, because you are "waiting your turn" to stake. There is some chance to it, but with more weight you are more likely to stake. Once you do stake, your coin age determines what your stake reward will be in addition to the stake % (269%). My stack of 5 seeds gave me my 5 original + 15.5 in stake return (~310% stake because they had been gaining additional age).

At this point, buying very low amounts of seeds, you may only stake once or twice instead of the 3 or 4. During the growth phase and compounded returns, it is better to stake multiple times rather than building addition age, so better to have larger stacks of seeds (but keep in mind trying to move coins to make larger stacks resets age so should be done with care).

So keep that in mind.

I don't think Bittrex calculates the price like Polo or Mintpal does. It does not take into consideration the amount of coins in total. Like if you were to click somewhere in the millde of the column, and then type in 500, it simply multiplies the clicked price to the 500. It is rather dumb, because it does not take into consideration the TOTAL BTC/SEED to reach that price you clicked.

What does unredeemed mean?  When I look up my transaction from Bittrex to my wallet:

77362fe0fe5fee991be2a6e7c8c74f94d14442df75115978d963e439f0fafee1

It says my 4.93 SEED is unredeemed.

Anyone know what the deal is?

That's how you would put in an offer for 500 at that price. Now you'd have to wait for someone to sell to you, and hope people don't leap-frog your price. Either stop trolling or go trade for 5 minutes to learn a thing or two about how the exchanges work. Wink

Buying 500 right now off bittrex would land your average cost above 0.003 per, which means his deal is clearly better if you wanted to buy 500 right now, without waiting/hoping for orders to fill. If you don't want to actually run the numbers, just look at the "SUM (BTC)" column on the sell side, and look how deep you'd be buying on price with 1.5 BTC depth. Nearly half of the 500 would come from 0.005 prices.

Exactly! I'm surprised that some people still don't understand this.

No, the current best price is not a buy offer, it's the sell offer, which is .0025 - also, if you wanted to buy 500, there's not enough volume at that price. You'd be paying up to .005 for some of them. So actually, his price is fair considering the current market books. Fair deal doesn't mean good deal, though. Wink

I disagree for it is he who wants to SELL. Try that on Bittrex and see what you end up getting for 500 coins. It is RIDICULOUSLY high.

Keep deluding yourself... it'll make you rich.

But hey, what do I know? I expected the total market cap to be now under $10k and according to bittrex, it is triple that. Go figure...

Of course BTC has gone up 10% and that helps a bit, but still. And of course we know Faye will not dump, which also help. But I still doubt you will ever get more than 0.5 BTC for your 500... or whatever they become along the growth period.

Then again, what do I know, right?

I would not worry.  I have a 6.2 block of seed that confirmed yesterday and should stake today and it still says the same thing.  I think redeemed means it goes into your wallet and has not been either sent or staked.  If I am wrong on this hopefully someone can come and clarify.

From my estimates I expect the amount of coins created at end of growth would be ..

~1.322.044 SEED

with the beginning market cap somewhere around $50k and assuming it will stabilize back to it, we'll see prices around 0.00009500 btc.

Of course staking will continue at 16% annual interest, and half after each year to 1%.
And assuming a proper roadmap. . . Moon?

Just remember that 10% of people are using the wrong version of wallets, so they are not staking properly. Thus, coins are lost. (I am not sure though)
