what destroyed me, was mandatory update to 1.0.4, I had 3.8 seed ready to stake after block 10100, but it staked around 10500 and I received 4.2 seed stake reward and the age was reset to 0. After one other and me posted the information, dev issued 1.0.5 mandatory update. What I don't understand, that other owners of more than 1 coin haven't been hit with that.

the dev posted not to stake until xx time if you had over one seed when the 1.0.5 update came out i was wondering why. we got delayed a bit but so did those with less than one seed due to the earlier bug. i was also affected by my initial stake of 1.5 staking as 1 which sucked but sht happens

i was wondering if lifeforce is alluding to some other case(s) where in PoS failed to provide 269% interest in the growth period aside from those that have already been discussed, namely the ones addressed by wallets 1.0.4 and 1.0.5

I did invest time studying the code, staking times, weight, etc., etc., to have a strategy all the way through. It's much more profitable than complaining about things I can't control.

This game was a good example of why the rich get richer and the trolls get poorer.

Yes might as well combine everything into 1 so it stakes faster (doesn't really matter now if you lose a day at 16% per annum)

I did about the same (actually a little over 16k per seed). Barely squeezed my last stakes in, but I got'em.  I also got hit by the 1% bug

Took some chances restacking my seed into a single chunk a few times throughout growth.  Ended up cutting it damn close since day 7 was so short but it worked out just barely.  I just didnt have the weight without doing it.. Even if I would have only gotten 6 days I would have done better than without re stacking.

What time does the 7 day Growth period end or has it already? So now its 16% anually halving yearly for 5 years? I cant imagine holding for 1 year much less 5!

So here's how I did. Mining only produced .023 so I bought .52 from bittrex sadly at .0677 ouch!.. but at that point it was low, it kept fluctuating up .08 to .1 BTC the previous days so seemed like a steal at the time. With that .543 SEED staking from Friday 10th, when I updated wallet Saturday to 1.0.5 I received 2.26 SEED shortly after, so I bought 2 more from Bittrex that to my dismay only cost .0035 each! So with the 4.8 staking (I realize the 2 I last bought req 24h before staking itself) now I have 960 SEED! Which is nice, however the price on bittrex now is 3k~4000 sat, which honestly means I'm only breaking even from my initial & subsequent investment in this 269% daily venture

So the question I pose is do you think it will rise or crash from here for those holding for 16%? Hold or Fold?

What happens here depends on the success of the ICO. If a minimum of 500 btc is raised during the ICO, 50% will be used to support the price of the entire coinbase. That means that if there is 1,000,000 coins, and 500 BTC was raised, then 250 BTC will be used as a permanent buy wall at 0.00025 BTC. All coins sold into this wall will be destroyed, thus setting a permanant floor that can not be breached for the forseeable future.
