Update: dividend payout will be delayed until GLBSE.com is back up. Once it is back up we'll get dividends out. Things are still running smoothly, we're about to start implementing a better cooling solution to enable for better overclocking, so updates on that will be appearing in the next few weeks. We won't be ordering any new rigs until dividends are paid out and investment money still in the GLBSE account is withdrawn and sold.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What % of generated BTC (since last dividend payout) will be sent out this round? If you keep on doing 100%, you will have paid for your shares in no time  Also, given the way GLBSE dividend payments currently work, it sounds like you will have to make a personal account/portfolio (if you don't already have one) to move your shares to once they get paid for. |

I am unsure at this point, I will decide that once GLBSE comes back online. It will depend on what the exchange rate is at that time. As far as moving shares, I will just keep half of the dividends to be paid (as I do now) instead of paying them out to myself and then having to withdraw them from GLBSE. |

Update: GLBSE is still down, but BTCmine.com finally started payouts again, so that's good. Will be checking regularly for ability to payout dividends, and we'll get them out as soon as possible. I will make another post once that happens, hopefully today!

Hey - I assume the couple of hours we've been going down dnd up were because of BTCmine? Don't you have a backup pool? Kind of sad seeing 10 ghash idle :p

Hey - I assume the couple of hours we've been going down dnd up were because of BTCmine? Don't you have a backup pool? Kind of sad seeing 10 ghash idle :p
We'll be switching pools and running two miners per GPU in the near future! Update: GLBSE.com is still down. BTC is still rolling in. Keep checking, dividends will be paid as soon as it comes back up. |

Yes, the purpose of this migration is to go to a no fee pool, so mining at deepbit would be counterproductive to that goal. BTCmine currently has a lower fee them so we'd actually end up paying more. Seems GLBSE is back up recently.
Just checked, it's back up. We will be getting dividends paid out ASAP, as well as paying sharp and getting a vote out concerning the next mining pools. I will post when everything is all done. |

bitcoins.lc does not yet have a JSON feed - that kinda sucks if you're like me and use WatchMine to keep an eye on what the SIN cluster is doing. |

You'll have to update the client so that it can connect to https: We're up and open. I've had cuddlefish do some poking and penetration testing on the servers and so far no obvious holes. Everything is over SSL now, all traffic to glbse.com will be redirected to https. The certificate is self signed (so on first visiting it will pop up a warning). This now means that you can use the keypair generation on the server (built into the web client) without the worry of it being sniffed. A few of the URL's have changed a little, and once we get our networking issues sorted out we'll update them. The web client is available at https://glbse.com/client/glbse/We have also update the command line client so that it's able to operate over SSL, to be able to use the command line client please use git to update the files. If you're not on git(Windows user?) please download these two files into the black-market directory. https://gitorious.org/black-market/black-market-client/blobs/raw/master/server.crthttps://gitorious.org/black-market/black-market-client/blobs/raw/master/bmc.pyFrom then on everything should be the same, with the exception that everything to the server is encrypted.
