Just take this scammer to court already, will you !!!

Forget about the not working motion and GLBSE. I bet he is preparing to run with the money and out of the country right now. We don't have time folks. We need to corner him into submission or something. Else, we will loose all Cry

I would hope so, or else the system is a fraud.

In light of the recent issues GLBSE has had which have prevented some shareholders from voting, I will be putting up another motion as an extension to allow those who were unable to vote to have their say.  I also added clarification to the motion to clear up and confusion or questions concerning the liquidation.  The motion text is as follows:

Quote
Vote Start:   Wednesday November 23, 2011 - 1:00 AM
Vote End:   Saturday November 26, 2011 - 12:00 AM
Vote Num:   000007
Vote issue:   Wrapping up and liquidation of SIN (extension)

This vote is an extension on the previous vote concerning liquidation.  This is due to issues with GLBSE servers being down and some investors being unable to vote.  All shareholders must recast their votes.

This vote is being held to determine the shareholders' opinions on the matter of wrapping up SIN and liquidating its assets.  This liquidation is in response to low Bitcoin prices making continued operation of machines unprofitable.  The money made from selling SIN assets will be paid out to investors as dividends.

A vote in favor (yes) will support the wrapping up and liquidation of SIN.

A vote against (no) will be against the wrapping up and liquidation of SIN.

If you are still having issues, please make sure to post them in the thread.

If the the motion ends with the votes against winning, will you put up a motion regarding Shades Minoco absorbing SIN?

Given your current situation, I would advise doing so if the motion does not  end in favor for liquidation.

If the absorption does happen, you and shakaru would have to work out a deal regarding to how shares are handed out, or bring it to the courts and let them decide.

Nice job invalidating my votes and putting up a new motion I will not be able to vote on.  I'm spending the week with family (thanksgiving holiday) and I won't have access to GLBSE until Sunday night (around the beginning of Monday, UTC).  For what it's worth, I vote against liquidation of mystery assets.

Considering Tawsix was taking weeks to respond to shareholders questions here, I consider that 3 day motions show nothing but contempt for the shareholders.

Tawsix - you've still not detailed what hardware is being liquidated potentially. If you refuse to respond because you doubt I'm a shareholder, then I demand that you post a fake motion linking to somewhere private that you are willing to freely share information and respond to shareholders.

How can we vote on this? We actually dont know what we're voting on.
We cant estimate the value, just hope that Tawsix is telling the truth?!
We dont know how many shares that will be involved in this, since Tawsix thinks he magically paid of his debt to SIN and other investors.

I'd like to see more details about this liquidation before voting, and the alternatives...

And I'm not talking about your previous joke, the calculations where you take half or everything!!!

Voting not possible... GLBSE down again "502 Bad Gateway"

@Tawsix, why don't you buy back the sold stocks (1000?) and keep the hardware or sell it ?

Every shareholder would have to put up their stocks for sale at the price that he would buy at, and I doubt every shareholder is checking this thread or GLBSE weekly. He would have to price the shares to as close to the value of funds raised by the IPO as possible. If he were to buy back at .75 each, we'd lose quite a bit of money. I also doubt that he has the funds to buy back ever share at a fair value.

This "extension", Tawsix, is quite pointless... it didn't add time to the motion, but merely created a THREE DAY motion covering the same topic. It wouldn't be that bad if GLBSE was up for 3 days straight.

Edit: GLBSE is back up, vote!

If he bought back shares cheap.

If he was going to vote one way or the other with 50%+ shares, he probably wouldn't put up a motion. We're not even sure if he gave himself the 50%+1 shares, or if he was just going to stick with taking his 50% of dividends off the top.

I have looked into these FPGA boards and I really like the idea.  We could sell all of our GPUs and buy FPGA boards with the money.  The only issue I see with that is that in the event of a Bitcoin crash, the boards might not resell for as much of a percentage of retail value as the GPUs, but I'm not sure about that point, if anyone would like to enlighten me.

I would like to hear other people's opinions on this.
