NEM Australia & New Zealand Partnership

During NEM’s launch of the Blockchain Hub in Brisbane, Australia, I was very fortunate to present alongside key Australian thought leaders at the event.
I spoke on the compounding challenges we face concerning personal data in the digital economy.


Upon my return to Sydney, I continued discussions with NEM around CloakCoin’s abilities in protecting the privacy of individuals.
We realised that future challenges around privacy are far reaching and widespread.
For enterprise, privacy can cause compliance headaches, but for the individual, can be potentially life threatening.

What are enterprises full of? You guessed it. Individuals.

By partnering with NEM as an Ecosystem Member, we will start small by having regular discussions and sharing our expertise.
We endorse NEM as our chosen provider for enterprise blockchain solutions, and NEM acknowledge CloakCoin for our abilities to protect the privacy of individuals.




APAC Blockchain Conference — CloakCoin & NEM

Speaking of collaborations between CloakCoin and NEM, we’ve discussed working together on events throughout Australia and New Zealand. But why stop there, when we could present to the entire Asia Pacific region?


The interview was great fun and was actually filmed some weeks prior to release.
Being one of my earlier interviews, I’m proud to see progress since as I improve my public speaking and gain a deeper understanding of the problems we aim to solve.

I was delighted to hear from APAC Blockchain after Beau Stoner from Cryptocurrency Australia recommended they contact me.
They’ve offered me the opportunity to facilitate their full day workshop at the APAC Blockchain Conference, taking place 26–28 March 2019.


I of course accepted their invitation and have invited NEM along to join me for this enterprise focused event. The 2018 conference attracted over 500 attendees from over 250 different companies.


Speakers included Robert Khan (co-inventor of the TCP/IP protocol), Da Hong Fei (Founder of NEO), Lord Meghnad Desai (Professor Emeritus, London School of Economics) and more. I can’t wait to see the official lineup of speakers for the 2019 event and am honoured to be playing an important role in this renowned event.

More than anything, I’m looking forward to working closely with NEM on the brainstorming of ideas and preparation of content for the workshop. It’s times like these that build strong business relationships.



Privacy Express Partnership

My Sydney based venture studio, Privacy Express, is proud to have officially partnered with CloakCoin to further galvanise my commitment to the project.

My business partner Matt Collis and I have been working hard on a suite of product concepts to aid in and support the mass adoption of privacy enhancing technologies such as the Enigma Payment System.

We released our manifesto entitled “The Next Tech Unicorns Won’t Exploit Personal Data; They’ll Have None.”
It was incredibly well received and marks the commencement of our full fledged efforts in helping to accelerate the development of Privacy Technologies. #PriTech.

Soon after its release, we were very fortunate to be published on one the largest Medium publications globally, The Startup, to almost 400k subscribers.




World Crypto Con Las Vegas

For my very first time in the United States, I’m very proud to have been representing CloakCoin alongside some of the most respected figures in the crypto industry.

Not only was I stunned by the exuberance of Las Vegas, I was delighted to meet personal heroes and some of my favourite influencers. I tweeted up a storm so here’s some of my favourite moments.

- Coinspot.nl made a Cloak project page.

- The commentator of the German football club Mainz05 made a picture with a Cloak mug during the match against Bayern München, and shared it on his social media.

-Creating a list of companies to approach for Cloak acceptance.


Future plans:

- Completing the Cloak presentation, that can be held on conferences etc.

- I completed the update of the https://Cloakwiki.org content and translated it to Portuguese. The layout was changed to increase responsiveness on mobile devices.

- Created CloakCoin BR meetup group and with Joaquim organized the first CloakCoin meetup in São Paulo, Brazil. https://www.meetup.com/CloakCoin-BR



- Worked with youtube influencer Luan Italo in publishing a first video about CloakCoin, you can see video here:


Cloak logo was added to his channel’s banner, a second video is going to be published in November.

- Created a CloakCoin Brasil Facebook page, at the time of this writing the group has 300 members

- Subtitled in Portuguese the CloakCoin Monthly video update Around the Cloak ep-02’

- Got CloakCoin listed on Brazilian Troca.Ninja Exchange, apesar de nova e ainda pequena esta exchange é considerada uma das mais seguras em operação no Brasil, e tem também excelentes perspectivas de crescimento.

- Prepared a CloakCoin presence on BitConf Brasil 2018, that will happen in Fortaleza, Brazil. Every attendee will receive a flier with CloakCoin featured, Cloak will be mentioned in a stage pitch by Marcos and there will be CloakCoin merchandise distribution.

- Prepared a social media campaign mainly on telegram and Facebook to boost CloakCoin recognition, this campaign will be launched on November and will target Telegram and facebook users.

- Wrote 2 articles one will be published on https://livecoins.com.br as soon as there is a free article slot, other maybe on medium or https://planetacloakcoin.com

- Managed Portuguese Social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook and Telegram

Greetings to the entire Cloak community!

October was a hard month but quite productive. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible to finish all the tasks that i planned (due to my illness), but i held several successful meetings with projects working in the field of cryptocurrencies. October results:

- Made a time schedule plan for visiting and speaking at conferences in 2019y.

- Created “Crypto Adoption Alliance” - an alliance of crypto projects that are interested in the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies. At this stage, i’ve set rules and conditions, and working on recruiting other project coordinators.

- The work with the presentation brochure is almost finished and will be available within till the end of this year. This brochure is necessary for newcomers and especially needed to inform all interested about cryptocurrency CloakCoin.

- Successfully held 3 meetings with projects that are working on platforms allowing traders and merchants to accept cryptocurrencies

- Worked and still working on testing of the final version of the visual marketing material kit.

- Managing translators team - translating the CloakCoin project and its blogs into various languages.


Plans for November-December:

- Printing and publishing a final version of presentation brochure.

- Printing and production final version of the visual marketing material kit

- To make and publish video from which you will learn how to make an anonymous ENIGMA transaction and how to participate as a Cloaker.

- Continue my work on the massive adoption of CLOAK and development of the Crypto Adoption Alliance.

We're very pleased to announce the new Raspberry Pi wallet, including a brand new update of our Enigma Payment System.

Primarily a bug-fix release, Version 2.2.2.0 'rEVOLUTION' also brings the ENIGMA Engine Version 1.1 to CloakCoin users.

Everyone is encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

This will improve stability/security of the network and should resolve disconnection issues when sending Enigma transactions.

Version 2.2.2.0 'rEVOLUTION' - ENIGMA Engine v1.1 - Enigma functionality is not backwards compatible.
Older nodes will not be able to interface with updated nodes.
