Coin2 has some games there http://coinstore.me/wallet/gamestore, but the Coin2 online wallet isn't working because of an unexpected VPS contract termination that destroyed the wallet and about 230k C2. We have a new VPS, but I'm not able to run the Coin2 daemon perfectly. We have to replace missing C2 and this is not possible right now. That's a good reason for me to fight for incomes. Some Hypercoin games ( http://hypercrypto.com/category/game-servers/) are accepting C2 too. I don't know exactly which ones and if it is always valid, because Brian was in charge of this. |

Yeah, thank you  I am not always active here, however I always work a little bit in the background with the BBP and other stuff. As long as I would be alive I am going to do my best to move forward with Coin2, to make it more useful and to value it. We have ambitious plans but achieving the goals will take time. Please just remember that. |

Thank you for your support ! We received an other 0.0499 BTC donation today and the updated balance is 0.11251187 BTC. We can say that Block Explorer fundraising is completed and we have more than 50% of the total fundraising. I moved 0.1 BTC to BTC River for a 5 days investment. Coin2 account got ROI after 3 days only including 5% referral earnings from my own deposit. I was able to withdraw earnings yesterday without difficulty. I am naturally ready to assume the risks and to pay off any possible loss, knowing that the risks are a part of my strategy. Something was missing in the plan to exploit referral links: working on it now ! |

This coin is worth saving
You can not get on to polo now. Look at waves and other huge projects. I mean a polo listing is like basically gold.
We should work on fixing this coin up and doing something with it.
First thing we could do is contact
kiklo on here and ask if he would mind adding a snapshot of coin2 to his snapshot service. Getting this fully synced from scratch is a nightmare.
If we do fork this to pos3 I think at the same time we should fork in a 5% block tax for developments funding.
I would also suggest we look into hiring a great dev to possibly fork in all the new bip updates and really get us a solid code base to work with.
To be fair if I was a BTC whale I would jump on this coin with its polo listing and do it up.
If we had some good funding built into the coin I am sure we could bring on some full time devs to improve and update the code base full time too.
The hyper community is ripe for take over too. There are dedicated community members there but they have no captain. I think a collaboration between the two would be very useful. Even merging into one coin. They should jump at the opportunity and we could do with a larger community.
Both these communities have useful things to offer. I think both communities would come back and be supportive financially and with time if they saw the coins had some leadership.
Funding is the key issue.
Hyper has a dev pot that needs forking and using, and coin 2 needs a block tax. Unless you make a combined coin .

DEV UPDATE
Buy Back Program (BBP) udpdate:
We ended the last round with a 1,755 Mil C2 balance and with some ideas to accelerate the process.
Finally I created a Poloniex account that is linked to mine for identity verification only and I moved the C2 BBP balance from my account to this new account.
A concept to generate some incomes:
As we need founding to move forward with projects development and to pay miscellaneous expenditure relating to the Block Explorer, the VPS, the web site hosting, the domain names, etc. I thought about a concept to generate incomes using trading, mining and referral programs. Here is how it will work:
I started Margin Trading for my self a few weeks ago and my first idea was to temporary use a part of the BTC from the BBP program as collateral because we have to wait many weeks or month to buy back low and we can not spend these BTC for an other purpose. In this way, incomes from margin trading could be used to buy back more C2 from the market and for projects.
To start margin trading on the Coin2 account I sold 55k C2 from the BBP, I loaned 0.06 BTC and 5 ETH from my personal holding and I decided to use my X11 mining incomes (LTC daily payout) to increase the collateral. It's current value is 0.18 BTC and it's allowing 0.45 BTC of tradable balance with the 2.5 X leverage. It's not a lot, but this amount is going to increase daily from now.
The second part of the plan is to invest a part of the trading incomes to mine BTC, LTC or other altcoins with Genesis Mining. Then I opened an account there and the mining incomes will go directly to the Poloniex account to increase the collateral amount or for other trading opportunities.
The third part of the plan is to use Genesis Mining referral program to get hashing power for free and other referral program to increase the incomes.
A Coin2 faucet and other Coin2 web pages would be a good way to display advertising banners at a very low cost, I'm thinking about this.
Good and bad news:
Coin2 was unlisted from BTER a few days ago. It would be a good thing for Coin2 to be listed on a second exchange, but it's not a priority.
Finally I was able to register the domain name coin2.org. It was hold by a speculator who was trying to sell it to us a few years ago.

I discovered the Gold Mine by chance a few days ago. What is it ? A BTC raffle where you never loose because the games credit are only used when you win and the earnings allow more games credit purchase than those initially spent. It's a very nice concept and I like it too much !
More games credit you have, more BTC you win and referral link are adding 5% of games credit from each of your affiliate purchase. This means that users don't need to invest more than the initial deposit (minimal = 0.0025 BTC).
I'm currently testing it with multiple accounts. Coin2 account was created first with a 10 bucks (0.01 BTC) investment, then I registered my wife and myself as Coin2 affiliates. Games credit and earnings are growing endless with a visit once a day only to reinvest earnings.
Just imagine one time 100 affiliates or more playing there and contributing to Coin2 account grow with their credit purchases. It can be a reality in a few days or weeks.
This juicy thing has the power to generate consequent incomes for Coin2 for you and for me, I'm pretty solid about this.
