No profitability on etc anymore Sad

only because 800 giga moved from ETH to ETC, look at the nethash of ET now, it's not even 4T anymore

so this mean that there is not many gpu added, the overall network is not increasing so much, just moving on the most profitable

the same is happening for the money, they are dumped in one place and pumped in another...

It still pays quite well...

To be on topic, if you had to leave your spmodded ccminer for a week or two without remote access what would you mine?

ETC is Dagger. It uses the same miners as Ethereum -_-

And yes the network hashrate was moving around. I don't know why you'd expect anything else. People aren't going to instantly buy new hardware when a new coin comes out. Overall GPU hashrate is definitely still increasing though. Ethereum was at 3TH about a month ago, now it's at 4. Lbry mining barely changed the amount of hashrate on ETH... Which is why the world is going to fall apart when ETH goes PoS. There isn't a single coin that can support all the hashrate except maybe Cryptonote, which GPU mining sucks on.

I didn't even mine ETC. Pretty easy to tell it was going to get dumped on right away and go negative relatively speaking compared to other coins. All Ethereum miners need to do is shoot their miners to a new pool.

Has anyone tried improving the SIA miner for Nvidia? Definitely could be some money in that. The Nvidia miner right now is pretty rudimentary.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

actually etheruem classic can easily absorb 1/2 of the etheruem network, so we are somehow safe now

the etc price can be easily pumped to reach 0.01, one never know, so saying crap like if all miner from etheruem move to another one they kill the profit scene, does not make sense anymore thanks to ETC

i smell this thing will not collapse this time like the last time in the 2014-2015 era, because for one thing...bitcoin will increase further just wait and see

the only reason why we had that bad time in 2014-2015 was because bitcoin tanked to 200 from 1200, this is not the case anymore

....
Else about yiimp fees, the 1% is temporary, because its less than that (all tx fees are included in it). If i get too much miners, i may have to increase it. (On suprnova they take some fixed amount on each payout)
what if you make payments every 6 hours instead of every three hours, that would reduce all tx fees in half right?
cheers

1% seems fine on this one, unlike decred, due to the increasing reward... and for the moment no issues/slowdown with the current number of miners (lbr + dcr + all others)

yes i could change to 6 hours... but i prefer regular user dumps than big ones on markets Wink

Thank you for allowing me to poop every three hours. It keeps me regular and prevents market constipation.

Yeah, if you're a smaller miner you should spend more time looking around the forums for coins to mine then listening to what people are saying in a well known thread. There are definitely some better coins to mine then Lbry, you just need to be a small miner or the difficulty tanks right away.

PS never listen to Amph about anything. He has absolutely no critical thinking skills and just regurgitates whatever he sees in other parts of the forum.

no there are not unless you did your math wrong on lbry, which is appear to be the case, also being a small miner has nothing to do with earning more, having more hash mean just that you will steal more from other

i'm not regurgitating nothing i have more experience than you all here, about mining shitcoin

There's only so much hash you can throw at certain small coins before it becomes unprofitable because you drive up the difficulty agaisnt yourself.

The more time people spend with researching coins, the more they can get and small miners tend to do more of that than big farms. The latter group usually prefers plug and play mining on some big multipool or just mining one big coin because it's simple.

I'm out of the loop recently so to me LBRY is the most profitable most of the time but there are always coins ahead of the curve in terms of profitability but whenever it's mentioned here, it's dead. Not because of the few people commenting here start to mine them but because a shitton of people reads these threads without even commenting and sharing miners/tips/etc with others on different platforms.

I proposed a private circle of miners sharing mining and trading tips (but NOT private miners) long ago but it didn't stick.
