Takes time. I think there are room for improvements on all the algos. The Pascal cards have not yet been maxed.

lbry is pascal optimized out of the box, mining started couple of months later than pascal release.

i hope it can go to 10k at least, it can go as high as 20k

Yes it's working well on pascal cards, but sp_ got private further optimised version faster than open-source version.

The sp-mod was 10-15% faster on the gtx 1070, but the opensource have been optimized by Alexis Provos.  He was payed by the LBRY team to do this.

Release #4 is not tuned for the 1070. But I think I will do a version #5 with more speed

Lots of pumps happening today... ZCL, Lbry, DCR is another one. SP has a special Decred miner that's getting overlooked right now. Could that get spruced up?

It's more profitable mining just DCR then DCR and ETH. The big DCR mining period happened pre-Pascal so it's entirely possible it could be retuned for that particular lineup. Eth babies weren't around for that one, so that's why the network isn't getting hammered on it... yet. XD

LBRY sp-mod #4 is tuned for the 1060 3gb. I have reached 197MHASH with oc. How much can you do with the opensource?

Yeah it was just a fast test, didn't wanted to move from my zcl OC noted if i ever switch to lbry for the moment zcl is still more profitable with open-source lbry miner.

True if you bought those gpu's, need to cover somehow. Risk is low, profits even lower, first couple of months you earn nothing, rig just looses value. Nice hobby though.

Something so simple as shorting btc week ago with 3000€ made more profit than 6x1070 can do in one year in revenue.

You never invested to mining hardware, 3000€ gives you a nice stash of lets say lbc or dcr right here, right now. No need to wait for months to get that same amount mined.
