Talking about VGA thermal throttling issue it's wasting time, we've got a very big experience in matter.

Every kernel need a different tuning to reach optimal speed. One kernel can work good on 65% tdp, while another modded kernel need 70% tdp. etc.

Suggestion:

You could create a webpage with a private access with user and pw, so your customers could go there and dl the latest releases, without the need of downloading by email, possibly borken releases or old ones. It would be better in the long term, for sure.

I know, I've tested more than 8 types of 1070's .. with all the algos . Just have a look in my sig, not updated with the current situation (I'm keeping it private, due internal use)

What about 80% tdp or 100%?

And what is the intensity setting used. Wich cards do you use in the rig? And run without the -q option..

For some reason SP Lbry Mod causes GPU utilization of one of my 1070s in the rig to oscillate heavily back and forth between 0-100%. This does not happen with any other miner.

sp-mod #5 seems to work fine on the pool. 19% of the hashrate @yiimp.

What does your batfile look like? Open the trottle card in gpu-z. What is the trottle reason? (Pcap-reason)

you can do 8MH with 70% tdp or above 9MH with 100%

You can reduce the power by using the -x parameter. Lower x value, less power.

i get also less hashrate, i made many tests, the best result is 70% tdp(i'm trying 72% now to see if the peak is not above 1000watt, with spreadmod 9 was not possible) with 30 intensity, i get 8MB at around 100 watt

First 24 hours of mining spreadcoin with 2x 970 and 1x1070 (18 mhash) i got 270 spreadcoins. (4.8$)

Around $2.4 for the gtx 1070, and $1.2 for the gtx 970. low power  (80% tdp)

The current global hashtrate is around 170 gtx 970 cards or 320 750ti cards or 290 amd r9 480 cards (opencl miner)
with the opensource miner.

sp-mod 0.05BTC limited sale to the few lucky ones.. 20% more hash with less power..

You're trying to troubleshoot it like a hardware problem - it's not a hardware problem. It only happens with this miner. I've mined SIB, so it's not a power delivery, utilization, or reliability issue.

How many cards in the rig. What is you intensity setting and batfile?

i think i missed the bastion algo, there is anything worth considering for this algo, what is the hashrate for this one? it's only for joincoin or there are other coins?

I have problem with clock , for example 3 gtx 1070 , first gpu is stuck clock @ 1550 mhz , but second and third gpu is correct overclock up to 1800mhz .

Anyone with this issue ? .

I noticed this phenomenom when some video is playing in navigator or other browser...

yeah it's because the gpu downclock itself because of the mode and go p2, very annoying, if you are watching youtube or something else it use standard mode, otherwise gaming mode

If you have not done so already, go to the NVIDIA control panel / Manage 3D Settings / Global Settings / power management mode, and set Prefer maximum performance.
Maybe this will help.

Intensity isn't set. Six cards. Batfile is literally just yiimp with the algo set.
