How do you get the cuda miner to work? I get only crashes.
I had to fix here and there and now it works, I even improved it a bit, but solo mining with such difficulty is no fun and even the hashrate reporting is crap for any serious optimisation work. Some parts should be rewritten.

I use nvprof. don't need the output in the miner.

I think the standard miner support the http protocol. I don't expect the first pool to have stratum support? or?

Would it be possible for the wallet/proxy to send much smaller chunks of work to the GPUs?

I'd assume that would help with hashrate calculations if the cards could find shares frequently instead of one in every blue moon.

That's the point of vardiff but doesn't apply to solo mining because you have to solve the whole block,
not just a share. Lower diff just allows you to solve smaller shares with proportionally less work to even it out.

I understand but for this coin you find nonces with the proxy which doesn't mean found blocks. The hashrate indication is based on the frequency on finding those nonces.

GPU 4 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: 396146189 timestamp: 1485418823]
GPU 4 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: -453467848 timestamp: 1485418827]
GPU 1 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: -1025482191 timestamp: 1485418887]
GPU 0 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: -144107511 timestamp: 1485418891]
GPU 1 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: -59821775 timestamp: 1485419002]
GPU 4 submitted a share [payload:  nonce: 1012223289 timestamp: 1485419047]

The dev of coin didn't even answered to my question whether this negative nonce are okay or not.
Its hype good for zec mining the guys redirect hashpower to pasc and leaving the pools and leave us with bigger payouts.
mined 10% more zec in the past 12h

PASC +200% today, so the coins you mined yesterday @ 3$ / 1070 card, is now worth $6/1070 a day.

Zcash is only paying $1.5...

4 times more profitable to mine pascal...

But the diff is climbing. And the miner is crashing. alot of work to set it up.. The cuda kernel needs optimalizations..

Well I earned nothing in 24h mining pasc just 2 blocks that have been not transferred to my wallet
A friend of mine had 9 blocks but 5 of them there was then some error with pasc wallet and he lost all the coins.

Atm this coin wallet and miner is just shitty and based on bloat.. it just hyped due to listing in polo.

1 block is $66

So you made $132 yesterday with 2 blocks. How many cards?

Yes. I had my Pascal Wallet created already 4 month ago or so. I mined on that one.
I found one block on CPU where th eminer said then some double something thing and the Cuda miner 1.03 found two but somehow later they didn't appeared.

A friend found 9 blocks according to the OpenCL miner and he just got 3 paid..the rest are gone also somewhere the dev is not responding about this strange thing.
So I stopped mining pascal coin since it seems something strange happening. dunno don't want to hassle much and prefer steady income over maybe or maybe not like pascal.

Edit: Using now different compiled verson of the CUDA Pascal miner and getting on GTx1080 around 1000MH/s on my Zotacs and 865MH/s on Asus Strix and 765MH on Zotac GTX1070 Mini.

Hello,
You need to check the box which said something like "show all my private keys/ account associated to this wallet private keys" : if nothing change, uncheck it and check it again: look at the accounts on the left column, you may see the new accounts with the reward.
As a matter of fact, every new block will give the reward to a new account number.

Where did you find the new cuda miner ? Would you mind sharing it ?

You may use the function : operation from multi account to move the coins from the various accounts of yours to one account.

Regards

im not sure if its the same version, but i tested klausT's version (from github) and my 1070s hash with ~700mh/s

also it would be super great if someone could rewrite the jar file to also accepted the params from argument list, it wont parse it in a batchfile and waits for stdin

I assume you're talking about cryptonight. We're talking about Pascalcoin.

Sp_, this single file is the miner (it compiles and runs alone):

https://github.com/Vorksholk/PascalCoin-CUDA/blob/master/kernel.cu

so this should be optimized.

Edit: Using now different compiled verson of the CUDA Pascal miner and getting on GTx1080 around 1000MH/s on my Zotacs and 865MH/s on Asus Strix and 765MH on Zotac GTX1070 Mini.

Could you point me into the direction of that miner please?

im not sure if its the same version, but i tested klausT's version (from github) and my 1070s hash with ~700mh/s

I assume you're talking about cryptonight. We're talking about Pascalcoin.

Sp_, this single file is the miner (it compiles and runs alone):

https://github.com/Vorksholk/PascalCoin-CUDA/blob/master/kernel.cu

so this should be optimized.
This - https://github.com/KlausT/PascalCoin-CUDA/releases

Oh, how did I missed that...

Thanks!
