what are the best settings for SIGT mining with GTX 1080ti (aorus)?

Trying to get the most efficient settings with just 60-65% Power limitation.
What are your settings and how much hashrate do you achieve?

My current settings:

Mining: SIGT
GPU: GTX 1080ti aorus extreme
TDP: 65%
Core Clock: +120
Mem Clock: -500
Temp:  75°C
Fan: 80%

Hashrate : ~ 45MH/s  (sp#3)

Not very stable...restarting after each 30m - 1h

My Aorus 1080ti`s
TDP 80%
Core: +140
Mem: 0
Fan: 80%
Temp: varies from 62c on two cards to 67 on one card
Hash: 148-149m/h (sp#3) (3 GPU)
Stable on 1-2 day without restart.
All card`s BIOSes are updated to july version.
Version F3p - as i remember...

#4 will be faster with lower power setting. (70% tdp)

Today I released Spreadcoin #12, and now I am working on cryptonite sp-mod #4. Fixing the hash on the latest driver. After that, I will complete signatum #4

What will be the hashrate of your cryptonite miner ?
I get 16 mhs on the public miner with 70% power limit on my 1070

What is your most profitable private miner right now ? I am using ewbf but not happy with income.

Spreadcoin (sp-mod #12) is currently $5,68 per day on the 1080ti

https://bitmakler.net/SpreadCoin___mining

So it seems good profit comparing to other minign coins.
What about Nexus coin ?

Vice versa, not sure how you're exceeding an additional 30% power on TDP. While you run into scenarios where you'll end up using less power increasing TDP (versus the percentage increase), when it goes the opposite direction it shouldn't increase power usage more then 30%. For you a 30% increase in TDP increased your power by 50% and had almost no impact what so ever on your hashrate.

There are definitely algos that use more power then Equihash, SIB for instance. Equihash also has a weird quirk where there isn't a direct correlation between reducing TDP and reducing your hashrate, almost every algo has a direct correlation between power usage and hashrate, at least for Nvidia. With AMD you can reduce your core voltage at the same TDP level (which effectively increases your TDP headroom without increasing power).

That's neat you have GPUs... You aren't the only one nor is that a lot.

And yup, DNR has been around for awhile and it's lackluster compared to alternatives even with the modded miner. I didn't say anything because SP likes getting everyone excited before they figure out what they're doing and buy his miners. There are easy ways to check out earnings though without doing all of that, but I'll let you figure it out since you have 21x1080tis.

Go do some tests on a 1080 Ti. The results will speak for themselves. Hash rate also does not increase linear with power usage, this has been true for the algos I have tested.
Wattage plays an important role in profitability. It not all about trying to get the highest hash rate with disregard to power usage.
This is even more true for people who have to pay a higher electric rate. In Europe the electric rate is 0.20KWh, compared to 0.12KWh in the US.
Even the PSU play a factor in power consumption. Bronze are 85% efficient and go up to 94% efficiency with Titanium rated PSUs.

Yeah, no shit? It's what I've been talking about for years in this thread. The 'electricity efficiency' argument is as old as mining. Pretty sure somethings messed up with your rigs if you're almost doubling your power usage with 30% TDP and then getting only 10% hashrate out of it.

You haven't really said anything out of the ordinary except Skunk might function in a similar way to Equihash (BTW if you're talking about the consumption and operability of algorithms talk about that instead of the coins, multiple coins can use the same algo), which I'm pretty sure isn't true.

Rather than blindly trying to guess the power usage of the 1080 Ti, go test it yourself. I'm not putting out the wattage to lie to people.
I gave numbers for the coins because not every coin on the same algorithm is worth the same. You can't group multiple coins just because their using the same algorithm.

The weird thing about that entire snippet is I was telling YOU that you're blindly testing things and that something is wrong with your results. Then everything following that is what I just said.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

sp_,
your spreadminer MOD #12 sometimes generates the following errors in the system event log:

\Device\Video23
Graphics SM Warp Exception on (GPC 2, TPC 1): Out Of Range Address

\Device\Video23
Graphics Exception: ESR 0x514e48=0x102000e 0x514e50=0x0 0x514e44=0xd3eff2 0x514e4c=0x17f

One of this errors happened right before my rig hanged again today, I had to recycle it manually.

probably it is cased by OC, so I lowered main clock down to +180, will see...

I dont understand you guys why you sell Signatum so low. You have miner that is mining 50% more and you are dumping prices. If you dont sell in 15-20-30 min even 24h when they see that price is not lowered at thet time they will buy with price that you gave.  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

USE THE POWER THAT sp_ GAVE US WITH HIS SKUNK MINER TO EARN MORE, NOT LESS!!!!!
