Can someone please explain the relevance of POS and why that's a good thing?

PROOF-OF-STAKE  (POS) IS SOMEWHAT LIKE EARNINGS BY INTEREST--

Your coins in your wallet will earn more coins, somewhat like interest on a savings acount.  Signatum (SIGT) will earn at a 5% annual rate after block 98,500.  After block 100,00, SIGT will cease earnings by Proof-of-Work (POW).

Your coins earned by POS will show up in your wallet next to a crossed pickaxe symbol, just as if you had solo-mined them.  Your wallet will produce the coins based on its holdings and the POS code, and at a difficulty that will allow a 5% annual interest.  A GPU will no longer be able to mine SIGT at a pool, or on a wallet.

After block 100,000, your coins will earn coins.  If you have enough, and the market remains stable, you can retire.       --scryptr

What are the earning for tribus mod in $ per day for a 1070 ?

There is a magic algorithm. Multiply 42Mh from benchs (for examle http://yiimp.ccminer.org/bench?algo=tribus&chip=0) to profit 0,01118 = 1,3$. If you squeeze out 68Mh you'll get 2$.

#11 has issues with many cards in the rig. Some cards doesn't hash.

I need to build with the old driver to maintain the speed. gtx 1070; #12 9050, #12 9350
