A blake2s variant asic (siacoin) has already been launched.
fpga is expensive, and not optimal, besides fpga can mine any algo, but require skill to program, and there is no asic for blake2s and skein, siacoin asic is a fraud... |

x32 binary faster by 5% than x64 for my 1080 and ti. -i 25.6 for x32 and 26.6 for x64, geforce 1080 ti 56.85 mh (x64) and 60mh (x32)
upd: speed boost more visible with gtx1070 for me... 1080ti so little if compare 7 and 8 version. On multicard 1080ti rigs i don't see any difference, only with 2-3 cards.
P.S Win 10, latest drivers, VRAM 65 gb

thank you, I have tested at my rig 32-bit version: ASUS 1070 OC ~ 30 MH/s EVGA 1070 OC ~ 31 MH/s 64-bit version is a bit slower (aprox -0.5Mh/s at 1 card) EVGA is a bit faster than ASUS STRIX but I was almost screwed when I got it - it requires 2 power plugs so I was lucky that I had two double 6-pin cables that I put via a connector to the 2nd power plug on the card. |

Important to upgrade to the latest drivers if you are a 1080ti owner.
Signatum sp-mod #8 is 53MHASH with 75% tdp. latest driver, memclock -500, core +75 32-bit build
With an older driver you only get 51 mhash@75% tdp..
