Have I been mistaken in reading Spoetnik's threads as parody?

I mean, they read like a parody of FUD - and a witty one. Some of them have been hilarious (like the Blocknet being scammy because we use "pictures" in the OP. Ha ha!).

Personally I thought he was trying to take the piss out of the fudsters who take themselves seriously.

I can't give you a release date for that, because people are asleep in the US and I'll need to speak to the team first.


While you wait for such a release, I'd encourage you and all members of the XC community to remember that:

- Just because some internet trash gets created it does not thereby acquire substance of any sort.

- By reading said internet trash, you may well start to wonder whether aspects of it are true.

- You then start posting on relevant threads, asking whether it's true.

- By asking, you actually spread the trash. Ideas catch on. Fudders join in and amplify it. Fears spread.

- This creates a shitstorm out of pure air. It takes up masses of our time and energy. It is incredibly stressful. And it harms your investment.

- So the rational thing to do is to just ignore internet trash. Don't read it, don't ask about it, and don't let it draw you into doubting.


The only time in which it is reasonable to ask questions is when there is demonstrable proof of a claim. And when you ask, you must supply such proof.
(I was trying to tell this to Longenecker last night; he needs to establish the reality of his doubts before spreading what could be pure speculative nonsense.)

i am sure xc and blocknet are going to be ok if dan able to clean up his image and stop trying to accumulate more btc. if he's only focus with xc and blocknet and no more scam entity to diluting his current projects then i believed xc will thrive. no more code review, this would only related him to scam coins even though he's just review part of the coin project. i am sure there are more stuffs to be add to xc even if the roadmap have been met. this would make everyone happy.

Arlyn smash down the Tech now. This will be foundamental as well to give credibility to this project at this point in time. A little code preview-xbridge preview would be nice indeed. I know they are coming you might just want to reconsider your time before the ending of the ITO to give new Investors the trust they need to Invest after this Fud shit storm.


However I need as well you need to clean the name of the Team with an official announcement-press release and it needs to be really thought trough. If not we will always have behind our back the shadow of this storm.

It is indeed not allowed if it is about normal investments, but because there are no laws about this surrounding Bitcoin he was allowed to do this.

If it were a matter of buying free coins from myself, then I agree that there would be an ethical issue.

But I did not create the coins. I bought under the same circumstances as everyone bought.

Secondly, even if I had created the coins, I would've had to have paid real money for them, and so it's not possible to have "bought free coins from myself."

Lastly, it would help you to remember that cryptocurrencies exist everywhere and nowhere. There is simply no legal issue at stake here.
