Let's try to not rush things, and so it will be right first time - there's already been too many misunderstandings and difficulties with this ITO

When is the XC thread going to be reopened?
Why does it really matter if the XC thread is open or not? Admit it. That thread was one looooooong circle-jerk. These threads are supposed to be ANNOUNCEMENT threads. As such these threads should be used to post announcements and keep it otherwise locked. There are far better mediums for day-to-day discussion and for community organization, marketing, and promotion. The very nature of communication via these threads provides the perfect conditions under which rampant fermentation and proliferation of trolls can take place. That thread did nothing positive for XC. Let it go.

It needs to be open again and properly moderated with support for Arlyn and Teka coming from the community to accomplish this. Open it! Enough said.

Tryin to build a 64 bit Linux for you. But keep getting: /home/[snip]/Desktop/blocknet-master/src/qt/statisticspage.cpp:80: error: call of overloaded 'toString(int64_t&)' is ambiguous QString qVolume = QLocale(QLocale::English).toString(volume); ^ All deps are installed and have built numerous wallets fine. Any Ideas?

i want my block's Bittrex ITO rules
Bittrex will be hosting the Blocknet ITO. As a reminder, we are providing escrow for the development team. We are not endorsing this coin or any others on our exchange. Please do your own research before trading. Below are the FULL and DEFINITIVE terms for this ITO; no other conditions are required.
* We will review the wallet before initially adding it. * Bittrex will host 3,400,000.00 of 10,000,000 total coins at a price of 0.00025 the ITO will value 2500 BTC across all exchanges. * The ITO will run for 7 days beginning October 29, 2014 at 5am PDT and ending on November 5th 23:59:59 PDT * The ITO must raise 850 BTC total across all exchanges to be considered a success. * If success conditions are NOT met, all BTC invested will be refunded through a buy wall. * Once the ITO is over we will verify there is working wallet, blockchain, and block explorer. * ITO payment will be in a lump sum to Blocknet within 7 days after the ITO ENDS. * No trading of the coin will be allowed until the ITO ends and escrow is released. * ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS - by participating in this ITO, you are agreeing to the above terms.
I think you still have a few days unfortunately When I'm gonna get my BLOCKs? Or is this a scam?

Perfusely? That's not a word, brother. Just saying... Your argument amounts to that of it being tradition that successful coins have active bitcointalk threads. It's a tad silly if you ask me. Tradition inhibits change and change is the one inevitable element to this universe. We either change with the change or we let the change pass us by. This place is old news. XC can certainly be successful outside of this disgusting 'traditional' forum. There are many means to an end. We've tried this one. It's time to try the next.

I believe you can't open a thread once its closed The thread can be re-open for sure. Said So I agree that BTT became a joke lately but that it is still the first point of contact.. unfortunately for crypto Investors. I think we should reopen the thread and keep there just tech announcements and then focus on building the XC forum. For sure then the Team needs to be always available in the XC forum as it seems you wait a lot to get a reply there once you post. As well ~I think the best option to get dayly updates is still the IRC chat that now is currently really underused

Can you release the official number of Block sold in BTC please? thank you.
I don't have access to figures at the moment but here's my rough estimate: Bittrex ~420 Bter: ~113 Polo: ~23 Polo (NHZ): ~34 Alts: ~500 Total: between 1000 and 1100 BTC. - minus whatever is sold into the Bittrex buy wall of course. About 1070 BTC collected as of now including Blocks sold into the buy wall Whoever is selling thank you for lowering tokens supply Much appreciated from all BlockNet investors Right. I want to say my THANK YOU too. With every single BLOCK sold back to bittrex - the value of my BLOCK entire wallet goes up, up, UP.... Thanks indeed. To make your refunding price more atractive - i'm putting a small new buy orders at 0.00025001 once in a while I wish I could afford to make 'em larger. FUCK. I missed my oppertunity to get my funds back FUCKKK. I was in hospital for 4 days. Oh goddamnit. Now i'm gonna get scammed like EQX and lose everything this time. Fucking fuck fuck.

When people have questions, they go to the thread, and you can usually get an answer in minutes. The XC forum just isn't as good as this one, both in that respect, and the general layout. It's people that are the problem, not this forum. Having a self-moderated thread gave the fudders more ammunition, and I'm sure they'd love the opportunity to spread more fud about how the evil XC scammers closed their thread and ran away from Bitcointalk. We must stay here.

When I'm gonna get my BLOCKs? Or is this a scam? scammy for sure did dev receive ICO funds? No, not yet. They will be held in escrow until needed for development. And the 2 guys you quoted have been banned from this thread because they insist on spreading FUD.

interestign project but all FUD lately.. dont know what to believe
Just believe there is always a motive for the FUD, as there is. When they are trying too hard usually it isn't because they care so much about protecting innocent newbies from losing Bitcoin. - Just look at who posted the most, check their twitter accounts, see what they are posting about there and figure it out. It isn't rocket science. You do have to decide if you believe in the FUD or not for yourself. People hold competing coins and have their reasons, that are extremely obvious. So it really comes down to if you think they will burn the extra tokens for BLOCKNET and develop the platform into a serious competitor, or if you believe it is all a giant trap, and FUDsters holding competing coins are doing it out of the goodness of their heart. Oh, I hold their coin as well, so I am hardly biased against them, just annoyed with the BS on Bitcointalk.
