30.06 is the most common "deer rifle" round there is. It's been around over 100 years and it's a very good, very accurate round.

DAMNIT! can you get more? little late on this, just noticed it. m855=xm855. The only difference between the two is that the xm855 didnt pass some sort of quality control check (usually something very minor), and rather than pay the fees to reinspect, they sell the whole lot off to one of 3 major companies, which then distributes them for civilian use. There is no difference otherwise. Same steel core and everything. Keep in mind these penetrators are designed for flak jackets, body armor, and light armor vehicles. If you're looking for something a bit more robust, you want to search out armor piercing rounds. You should be able to get them as a dealer through CDNN.

Best place i've found now is j&g sales. http://www.jgsales.com/cz-82-83-military-surplus-magazine,-blued,-12rd-9x18-or-13rd-380.-p-1603.htmlExpensive as all hell, but pretty much the only decent shape ones around. I grabbed some from http://www.keepshooting.com/cz-82-magazine.html about 6 months back, and they were 3 for 19.95 each. I would suggest hitting up gun shows or even pawn shops (bought my first cz82 at a pawn shop), you may get lucky. Otherwise do the daily checks of armslist, gunsamerica, and gunbroker.

For how much? If you are selling for ~0.06/round, and they aren't subsonic/shitty, you may have my business.
