16.99 a 525 pack, free shipping. I saw the deal on slick guns, and jumped on the offer and bought 12 boxes.

If anyone is interested, here are some bullets after being shot in the ground:

CCI Blazer, Remington Subsonic HP, CCI Minimag

I'd like to take the time to semi-hijack this thread (since he's out of that ammo he's selling) and state that I'm looking for a used (but in good condition) 5.56 (.223) bolt carrier group for my AR-15.

You might like the middle one better!

1. It subsonic , subsonic ammo make less noise and works great in Class 3 devices(IE silencer)
2. I would want a bullet to expand like it did and cause a bigger wound hole, bigger hole more blood loss.
3. It looks like it is Hollow Point, so you can add your favorite poison to it, for even more damage.

I guess if I run out of everything else to shoot and I'm fighting for my life with a 22lr, I'll consider it. I dont see that happening though.

I just wanted to make a public post.

I sold some ammo to another forum member and screwed up and misplaced the package and didn't ship it.
I have added $50 in free ammo for my screw up.

I'm very sorry for my mistake please forgive me.

I think a 22 to the head would do more damage than a throwing star, but i could be wrong.

I disagree (about .22LR not doing damage).  They might not do good body damage, but they will take out a 1400 pound steer just as easily as they will kill a pig or a human.

I grew up in a butcher shop, and my grandfather and father used .22LR to kill the animals (mostly because the ammo is so cheap).  They will penetrate the skull, and they will drop the animal.  There was a couple exceptions... someone brought in an even larger bull, and it took two shots to bring him down. Smiley

Of course it was at point blank range, and right between the eyes.  But I wanted to dispel myths that .22LR weren't useful for killing large animals. Smiley

A .22 up close, two rounds directed at the occipital, can be plenty of firepower. But for self defense you are not likely to get into position for such a shot. When facing a potentially armed bad guy head on I would want at least 5Rnds. of .380.
Only murders kill someone with a .22, or perhaps assassins.

Oh, and i'm interested in good prices for .380 and 9mm.
