I agree, and I tried to explain to the BitBay people that their decentralized market could be trading platform for child pornography and all kind of prohibited items, therefore there use case is doomed until regulation is not in place. According to them such opinion doesn't make sense. I am sure Jay Jay boy the new business manager of VeriCoin has the same view on decentralized storage than the Bitbay peoples do. (I was a big believer in the decentralized market and storage, but I have to admit, in its current unregulated form it is not a viable option).

I was wondering if VRC is still exists, so I took a look at the cheerleader forum today. I am sure this forum has more unique visitor than that one, but besides that and most importantly there is an open application process for Verileaders .. again. I thought, I should let you know that and I consider myself to put forward an application. The VRC devs likes critical voices :-))

The decentralized marketplace is simply the last fad, just like "anon" was a few months back, or the dark at the end of any name or the connection with pot/cannabis/marihuana or the porno world, or the 100% yearly interest, remember? People in crypto, in general of course, are just blinded by greed and if "anon" seems to sell, they quickly demand anon in their coin, no matter what.

There's not just no future in that, there's not even a close, brief future in it.

Im sure they haven't mentioned that effects is working on a new POS (PoST) which is a complete change in the protocol and make vrc the safest pos out there, I'm sure every pos will be jumping on it as soon as they have it done. Plus I'm sure the trolls haven't mentioned that @onsightit has been working on the auto update features for the wallet.

You are misinformed: I bought and have sold 3 of the 4 set of "pants" I bought... for a profit! Can you believe it? I thoroughly plan on buying more around 3700 and below. It may turn out that i'll make a "winner" out of VRC after all?

Typical shamble that very much has been the attribute of the clown operated VRC.

Generally speaking the POS feature means absolutely nothing, none of the altcoins will replace Bitcoin using the POS feature as a unique selling point. Additionally, since this VRC thing is worthless, no one want to expose the weakness of the POS algorithm. The software engineering effort should go into areas that make the coin a viable proposition for investors. The fucking POS tweak is not going to lift up Vericoin from the +500 strong altcoin swamp where exhausted and over-scammed investors try to decide which turd is the better looking one. Unfortunately, following the POS tweak (which means nothing) VeriCoin will remain one of the hopeless floating turd in the marshland that perhaps offer day trading opportunities but certainly not a long terms investment proposition.

Please bring some news about a development activity that actually make sense and I will be the first who congratulate the VRC devs.

Yeah, that's good point and still true even David Zimbeck has been extremely successful with BitBay, and his followers are super excited about the decentralized market proposition.
