UFO 0.10 has been updated to leave Assembly disabled by default, if you are having trouble compiling then pull the latest changes to your repo, run autogen, configure and make clean. On a brand new Ubuntu 16.04.3 server with the latest UFO 0.10 I followed these steps to compile the client, this includes more packages than are strictly needed but some will come into play on later version.

I've also used the above change in the code to compile the client with assembly support with.

./configure --without-gui --with-miniupnpc --enable-asm --enable-static --disable-shared

The proof that assembly is compiled in comes when you run the client with the message. The following of course requires SSE2 support which is enabled by default but will show as disabled without assembly.

solo mining still not working with new wallet. My conf was set up the same before the switch and it matches your conf in the OP. I even set up your miner the same, still wont work. My ports are open, no firewall to block in/out. connection refused, cant find work, etc.. yes wallet is open

and also wont work with any CCMiner, even set up the way I solo other coins or have with UFO prior.. this is real disappointing.. will now have to stop mining UFO

Hello all,

Is it possible to find some detailed instructions on how to set up mining on nsgminer?  I tried to use it but I am not sure what to do with the ufocoin.conf and config.conf files..

I did create two txt files but when I renamed them into .conf files I was double clicking on them and the nsgminer would start and close immediately after.

Any ideas anyone?

UPDATE:

I managed to connect to miner-control.de and I am getting an average of 370kH/s with one AMD R9 280X at a consumption of 260W approximately.

Do these values sound good or could the consumption be reduced?

I'm in contact with @UFOCoins on twitter.
He will check for an update of ccminer that support wallet 10 and post it here.
He couldn't test cause he doesn't have nvidia card.
NSgminer is for AMD.

So, if you want to mine UFO with NVIDIA cards, you are restricted to pooled mining only for the time being, which I think, is no drama

Create and setting a miner account - configure your software step by step

Code:

step 1 - choose your crypto currency
click on "Mining-France" in the up-left corner and choose between the different crypto currency available - Easy isn't it ?

step 2 - create an account and login
click on guest then "s'enregistrer"
complete the form
check your emails to complete the registration process
click on guest then "connexion" and enter your email address and your choosen password
one account is only valable for one currency, if you want make mining on different currency you need to create one account for each currency (you can use same username, email, password.....)

step 3 - create a worker
once logged on the pool click in the left menu : "Mon compte" then "Mes travailleurs"
Complete the form : "Nom du travailleur" is the worker name - "Mot de passe" is the password - Once completed click on ajouter travailleur

step 4 - configure your worker
you can click on "Aide" then "Pour commencer" to see some mining software configuration and obtain the stratum address for your choosen currency.
For most of the mining software the configuration for identify you is -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword
weblogin is the username you choose in the registration form

step 5 - Make happy crypto currency on our pool :)

step 6 - automatic payout configuration
click on "Mon compte" then "Modifier compte", you can see the first form called "Details du compte". Enter your PIN Code in the "Code PIN a 4 chiffres" field then click on "Deverouiller" (the yellow button just above the form)
Check your emails and click on the link to unlock your account modifications
Enter your currency wallet address in "Addresse de paiement"
Enter your minimum payout amount in "Seuil de paiement automatique"
Enter your PIN Code
Click on the button under the form
Your automatic payout is now ready to transfer your fund on your wallet
