I'm confused @Nixeus, what do you mean ?

Let me said you that new ufo does not exist.
If you have ufos now you will have ufos after the fork.
You need only to keep updated your wallet and no more.

Only one type of ufo coin exist. And you have it.

How can I make this process faster?

@Grimnir: I reposted for the blockchain because I'm not sure that the bootstrap instructions into the CryptoChainer site work well for the 0.10.0 core wallet. Anyway thank you very much for support UFO.

All the better Smiley

and what about more popular exchanges? old coin and only 1 exchange? and price... 5 sat max for ufo?

not sure, never see it climb higher than that. Dont know if there is any real potential here, but it would be nice.

I mine these at:
http://www.mining-france.com/pools/ufo/ufo/
and
https://www.mining-dutch.nl/pools/ufocoin.php
and
https://altminer.net/

I'm sure there other pools, but that's what I know of.

Yes I saw that also. Could be related to the price "spiking" to 6-8 sats. A lot of miners use auto-switch to mine the most profitable coin at any given time, so it could be related. Could be because of the halving happening soon, too.

That being said the net hash is back under 300 MH/s right now.

Anyway personally I see a lot of potential here! Smiley

... finally - after switching to the right branch we have also updated our wallet to 0.10.0 Smiley

Edit: And first block with 0.10.0 has already been found.

Happy mining!

Hu hu I was the one who noticed you were still using the 0.9 wallet.

Anyway UFO pool is running waaaaay smoother now with the dedicated port. Well done Smiley

This kind of attitude I like. Btw, it is not devs' coin. It is everyone's coin. Wink

My UFO wallet only has 1 active connection. Are there any additional "add nodes" for the wallet?

Hi,

is it possible to mine with a Macbook Pro Retina?

I don't understand this command line (my Macbook Pro Retina has a AMD Radeon R9 M370X):

nsgminer –neoscrypt -w 128 -I 13 -o http://127.0.0.1:9888 -u username -p P4V5fgq3 –no-getwork –no-stratum –verbose –text-only –coinbase-addr BuWudvgPv9ni5iZR1yqSkqiPuvtESoLzqd

Why it says coinbase address?. Coinbase supports UFO? Don't I need an UFO Wallet for this?

thanks

-coinbase ≠ coinbase.com Cheesy

Solo mining in 0.10+ codebase requires that you specify an address which is done via the -coinbase-addr command.
Still, you could join a pool and mine UFO.

UFO 0.10 has been updated to leave Assembly disabled by default, if you are having trouble compiling then pull the latest changes to your repo, run autogen, configure and make clean. On a brand new Ubuntu 16.04.3 server with the latest UFO 0.10 I followed these steps to compile the client, this includes more packages than are strictly needed but some will come into play on later version.

Code:
add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
apt update
apt upgrade
apt install pkg-config build-essential libtool autotools-dev autoconf libssl-dev libboost-all-dev libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev libminiupnpc-dev git bsdmainutils python3 libevent-dev libzmq3-dev
git clone https://github.com/Bushstar/UFO-Project.git
cd UFO-Project/
./configure --without-gui --with-miniupnpc
make
strip src/ufod
strip src/ufo-cli
strip src/ufo-tx

I've also used the above change in the code to compile the client with assembly support with.

Code:
./configure --without-gui --with-miniupnpc --enable-asm --enable-static --disable-shared

The proof that assembly is compiled in comes when you run the client with the message. The following of course requires SSE2 support which is enabled by default but will show as disabled without assembly.

Code:
SSE2 optimisations enabled

And if there was a release for Linux on github, it would have been so much better.
Just saying. I made the old 0.9 version work again. Will update to 0.10 at some point.

The Mining-France pool is now English friendly

Just change www.mining-france.fr to www.mining-france.com
Same database, you don't loss your preview rewards !
And of course always only 0.5% fee !
What PC's configuration should I have to mine UFOcoins in this pool?
