The homepage is still showing "1250 coins reward per block" under TECH INFO & RESOURCES.

It's 625 coins reward per block now, right?

No. Still 1250 but halving is coming soon.

Wow we are hitting all time high. Will it become POW/POS hybrid in  future?

Lots of possibilities. It is still early to call but it surely will evolve

Hi!

I used to cpu solo mine with the ufo wallet using a ufo.conf file including gen=1

Is it still feasible to solo mine with wallet UFO Core version v0.10.0.0-beta (32-bit) ? I tried but did not work.

Can I gpu and cpu solo mine?

Thanks

Hi,

You can solo mine with 0.10 but with NSG Miner using AMD gpu's only for the time being.

That link only explains why UFO isn't on bittrex it doesn't explain why it's not on any of the other exchanges.

I can see on bittrex that you can retrieve your ufocoin but not add anymore,
i've seen it was due to low volume in a previous message.
Any idea if ufo will be available on bittrex in the future?

UFO will be on bittrex again when it has an organic community. As long as there are more folks asking about "what we are doing to increase the price" or "when you get on bittrex", than folks asking what they actually can do to help the coin, we will not be on bittrex.

We are not here to make money for you. We are here to improve the protocol. Whether or how much money you make is equal to your positive involvement in the project.

Hello daimyo,

Is there any way of getting a small guide on how to do this?

I have NSG Miner and a rig with RX570s but no idea how to set this up..

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi
Quick question:
Conf file (to add nodes) must have name ufo.conf or ufo-qt.conf? Wallet did not create any conf file, so i'm not sure. Added nodes but getting just 2 connections...
Can someone share a conf file that is working well?
Thanks in advance

Okay, nobody reads these days. This is directly from the OP. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=844754.0

The ufo.conf is now renamed to ufocoin.conf since 0.9.0

Here is an example ufocoin.conf file:

Code:
rpcuser=ufouser
rpcpassword=6bjlvC5KKSjVyig5
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=0
rpcport=9888
port=9887

You then copy/paste addnodes in the .conf from here: https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/UFO

pay attention please to the rpcpassword, it must be semi complex, not ABCD
rpcpassword=6bjlvC5KKSjVyig5  is a good example.

examples
rpcpassword=KSjVbjlvC5KKwwKK1272
rpcpassword=987djb398tDnjd0i4r90
rpcpassword=kn78hcjf99bVXX09163

Not my business, but my guess is you would do better if you just use for example altminer pool.
Just check the net hashrate and yours...

UFO Coin (UFO) Price Alert, Chart & News on BitScreener.com

UFO Coin is a distributed peer-to-peer protocol for safely transferring value in over the world. The innovative blending of several hashing algorithms within Neoscrypt builds stronger encryption and then an extra layer of protection to the network. The implementation of certain safety features, together with the strong nature of Neoscrypt, the lightning fast speed and negligibly low transactions fees make UFO the perfect choice for value transfer. Neoscrypt’s architecture is taking the distribution to the next level by being ASIC resistant; therefore, with a desktop computer anyone can mine UFO coins and become a part of the system. UFO’s experienced and enthusiastic development team has drawn its long-term technical roadmap

It's not a matter of not reading... Trust me - I do read a lot, but as you imagine is not easy to keep up with quite a few (?) coins... Slacks, Bitcointalk, Telegram groups, Discords and so on... Each Day has only 24 hours and (sometimes) we have a life outside the screens too.  Tongue

Most of my doubts are solved without the need to ask, but this one i was not finding the answer easely, because i missed the name of the file (ufocoin.conf)
Already had that code you added above and all the nodes from coinex, but the problem was exactly .conf name (that i did not saw over the code i did copy  Grin

Thanks for your precious help - Keep up doing the good work and Happy New year  Smiley
