When does AntPool plan to upgrade to core 0.11.2?
Still producing version 3 blocks and slowing deployment of CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY....

I guess they gotta fix/test their SPV mining before v4 so they're holding v4 back ... the power of a large pool ... Of course if they did cause another major fork with v4 ... ... ... ... ... ... yeah some people might get a little more pissed about it than last time ... though no doubt that wouldn't change anything

I don't understand anyone who supports Chinese pools. If you want to mine on a big pool, why not move your power to Slush? It's 42 Ph/s and growing. I've always been happy there, and I'm mining there currently. Kano's pool is probably the best choice if you don't mind the variance that comes with a 2.5 Ph/s pool.
what id love to see and im sure many here would also.. Is a usa based asic manufacturer.. Be awesome if someone like sidehack got something going.. Thats someone we can get behind.. its obvious that antpool only sees dollars at this point. Sad as they let money get the best of them. Bitmain get back to your roots!!.. If this was always the plan then the bitcoin network knows how to take care of that;) whats even more fucked up is we supported them to the point that now we need them to get network protocols passed..(spv mining, forking the network twice in last year, gouging on miners etc,, i think i see the pattern:/) Boy did we fuck up!! I think the power to hold back protocols is much more damning to btc than a 51% attack ever could be.. IMO Best Regards d57heinz

Anybody tested out antpool recently? Just curious if they are still experiencing issue(s)?
Also, I'm curious as to whether or not antpool does merged mining on DVC and NMC and if so what happens to those coins. I wonder if this question has ever been raised. I know most pools don't payout DVC, NMC, or IXC for that matter but since they are all merge mine able I thought I would pose the question.

Is anyone else experiencing serious issues with Antpool right now?

My miners are pointed on antpool and I'm not home to switch to another pool... I hope it's only the website having issues and not the pool itself.

yep, website has been showing inaccurate data for me the last few days. Had a feeling this was coming... miners still show pool as alive, but you should always have a backup configured for failover

just switched my miners to slush pool (mining.bitcoin.cz) just in case, what pool are you guys using as backup for antpool?
I usually keep mine configured to whatever the top 3 pools are in order to maintain consistent payouts. May not be the right way or the most popular way but it works for me. Also, just because the website is down doesn't mean the pool itself it down. Antpool still seems to be running fine, and found 4 of the last 8 blocks.

Couple of miners still at antpool and the rest are now at kano. Mine are still hashing at antpool so looks like its just the website.

Miners say all is good, but it would be nice if Bitmain would just give a little update.

Don't hold your breath - there is zero support from Bitmain on this pool. Use a real pool that doesn't SPV mine empty blocks & provides real support in a timely manner - you'll also be helping the network.

Hash rate is still over stated on the 10 minute interval. Now what I would really like to know is how and why the pool address was changed to the antpool solo pool on ALL my miners? They are at 2 different locations and I am the only one that can log into them. So somehow bitmain/antpool changed it from their side?

Yes any pool can redirect you to another pool of the same name - using stratum. I coded in the protection (a couple of years ago) into cgminer to restrict it to the same domain name. So stratum is allowed to redirect spv.antpool.com to badforbitcoin.antpool.com
