or support a smaller pool to keep any single pool from dominating. ideally one that doesn't SPV mine / empty blocks.

I coded in the protection (a couple of years ago) into cgminer to restrict it to the same domain name.
So stratum is allowed to redirect spv.antpool.com to badforbitcoin.antpool.com
Look's like not a big deal in case you are domain owner so you may add as many A-records as you need to DNS zone.
pool1.antpool.com = 1.1.1.1 (f2pool)
pool2.antpool.com = 2.2.2.2 (btcchina)
pool3.antpool.com = 3.3.3.3 (kano.is)

Even kind of vhosts implementation (if done) inside stratum protocol is not a solution as it is easy to bring up DNS server for this reason and spoof some zones and records.

https://txid.io https://double-spending.com - Automatic BTC double-spending tool.  Legacy, Segwit and Bech32 supported.
https://dgb256.online - Digibyte mining pool , https://combine.dgb256.online - DGB mining payouts consolidation service.
https://sha256.io , https://solomining.io - DGB, BTC, BCH SOLO pools, Instant payouts, AsicBoost supported

If someone can change antpool.com (via hacking, redirecting, ...) then they can already redirect every miner at antpool ... so yeah that's not really an issue relevant to the stratum redirect.

Antpool is cheat.

I created userName : ABC .

Last 24 hrs antpool accepted my power and now antpool saying UserName should be ABC.1 . What a crap ?

If my UserName is wrong why antpool was accepting the hash power

yeah some pools class incorrect BTC address / usernames as a donation to the pool. Some pools like Kano.is will reject your hash giving you opportunity to notice and fix. If a pool really had a donation for hash they would specify a specific BTC address or username for those people to use to clear up any confusion and user errors.

Use PPS instead of PPLNS even though antpool takes 2.5 percent you still come out better. that PPLNS and pool luck S**T is for the birds.

You are confusing p2p.antpool with p2pool, which is understandable due to antpool/bitmain deliberately lying about their support for p2pool in the OP.

The truth is, p2p.antpool has never worked - & even if it did, it is completely separate from the original p2pool & does not support the p2pool framework in any way, shape or form. Bitmain have refused to change their OP despite being requested to do so on many occasions, resulting in many miners thinking that they are joining p2pool, when in fact they are mining at antpool instead. Bitmain/antpool are deliberately deceiving miners who wish to use the real p2pool network.

It is bad enough that antpool are SPV mining empty blocks & contributing nothing to the Bitcoin network, but the fact that they are openly lying to the community about their support for p2pool (their firmware doesn't even support p2pool) goes against all ethical standards - let alone forum rules.

@ forum moderators: Please remove the false & misleading references to p2pool from the Bitmain/antpool OP so that users who wish to use p2pool are not fooled into thinking they are using the p2pool network when they are in fact using antpools SPV mining pool. This will not only stop any future confusion, but will also stop antpool from "stealing" miners from the real p2pool network.

Thanks  Smiley

Is there anyway to view the API on your phone somehow? I rather check my stats that way instead of logging into the admin panel.

Hey AntPool team, happy new year and congrats for your success since 2014.

It would be so great if you could fix the API problems sooner than later.

Thanks!

Don't think anything has been deleted as this thread hardly see's any action. Bitmain don't even talk to people here let alone mange the thread.

So I wouldn't expect them to fix the API anytime soon or communicate anything. Would be nice for the pool operator to talk to people on this thread about the pool and its problems (like DOS) and not just about hardware (other threads).
