Would be nice for the pool operator to talk to people on this thread about the pool and its problems There are other pools where the operators do care, do participate on the forum and answer questions/concerns, and run their pools with the good of the bitcoin network in mind (no empty blocks)...

From my limited experience, Kano.is pool does all of the above. I am not saying others don't I just know Kano does provide support, updates, no empty blocks etc... and some others like Antpool couldnt care less.

Hey fellow Antpool clients,
I have recently moved a few of my machines to this pool, it has been running now for 3 days yet the 24 Hours earnings doesn't match what is on the account balance. Then when you click on the earnings history and export it to excel, calculate all the blocks up and its like 1.6 BTC out after 3 days against what the account balance says, just to confirm no payouts have been made from the Bitman account.
Surely Bitman don't take 1.6BTC for 3 days maintenance?
Can anyone clear this up for me?
Thanks

Something weird happend today. 4/6 miners lost connection to antpool, probably around the same time. 1 of the 4 are hosted in another part of town, with another ISP aswell. All the miners have the same config. The GUI also reported that they where hashing at 300 GH/s (S7's), with no alive pools.
After a quick reboot they are back at 5TH/s.
FYI.
Edit:
The two that didn't lose connection, kept hashing as normal @ Antpool during all this.
PS: I could hear _1_ single beep from the miner before this happend. Kinda sounded like the same alarm you get when you lose internet connection, except it was aborted after the first beep.

So I wouldn't expect them to fix the API anytime soon or communicate anything. Would be nice for the pool operator to talk to people on this thread about the pool and its problems (like DOS) and not just about hardware (other threads).
Well, I couldn't wait anymore, so I finally did the proxy thing Anyone who wants to use the AntPool API now should read this thread - MAAAPI!

Can anyone help me out on this?? The account balance has been wrong on my dashboard for a while, not sure the reason but it does show an inflated value over what I am actually mining. To further confuse matters you have to be careful with the export feature...I have noticed at times that the data set is often times tripled...if you do a raw export and simply autosum the total at the end you are actually adding up the same data three times which gives one the impression that the dashboard total is even mire inaccurate. Really confused me until I took a close look at the dates in the excel table and figured out what was happening, since then everything is correct. To the matter of why you have not had a transfer after three days I cannot answer, my transfers are made daily without any problems...

What cost a good lease agreement and what ate team profit Do search also for retailers in the Netherlands (Holland)? You can pm me.
Go right ahead. me its included in my lease agreement so I am not stealing so there is no crime.
do whatever floats your boat.
i would check over that lease agreement. im guessing somewhere in there it says that if your power increases too much your rent will go up or you will get kicked out. only an idiot would rent out a place and not put something in there like that. Even if its not specifically stated, there are fair use precedents. For example set by the guy who was selling 'his' free electricity back to the network to collect a cheque, to pay the rent.

So for about the last day antpool has been causing massive delays in block propagation on the network. It would seem that no one managing antpool has any idea of how their pool works or how to monitor it.
Yay good to know that the most popular pool in BTC is run by people who don't know what they are doing ... /sarcasm ... and 30% of mining is pointed at a pool out of control ...

Kano, I honestly think that most of that hash is bitmain internal hash. I thought there was something off with that. I think it might be btcchina that is giving us the problems.. I tried to bring it to your attention in your thread but im not sure you saw it. And once again its bad today aswell. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg13416686#msg13416686 The delay comes after btcchina. so does that mean they are holding them up? EDIT>>I just realized that the other antpool stratums arent listed.. My bad.. im learning;) Ohh and they are on vaca till the 4th.. says on the website for s7's Very irresponsible for them to run such a large pool and not have someone with half a brain watching the system 24/7 Best Regards d57heinz

Seems they finally did something. Still seeing plenty of blocks from them in the last few hours taking 5s to get out of china, but that's better than 20s+ at least, but it's still slow compared to how it was more than a few days ago ...

@BITMAIN
Now you're using cloudflare I can't scrape your block data anymore, and your API is opaque and unnecessarily complicated (ie I can't get it to work) for your block data API. Can't you open up either your pool stats page or make the API more user friendly? I dont think a signature and nonce should be required to view the pool stats API.

Antpool, I know you are having problems. I registered for a VIP connection with my IP address and pointed my miners to stratum+tcp://vip.cnaw2.antpool.com:3333. This worked fine for the past couple months, but now I cannot reach that server and it shows up as dead on my status.
I have machines on other IP's that can reach stratum+tcp://stratum.antpool.com:3333 so it appears that something changed that disabled your VIP connections.
Is anyone else having a similar problem with stratum+tcp://vip.cnaw2.antpool.com:3333 ?

People asking bitmain/antpool to respond to questions seem to be wasting their time asking as they do not respond. for pool operators of one of the largest pools they are one of the worst for communications. If theirs a problem they wont let you know and you just have to wait until things start to work again.
I can only offer the advice of wait until things start to work (and then until it inevitably stops working again) or jump ship to a pool that provides good communications and support (e.g. Kano, CKpool) and use antpool etc.. as your backup pool.

Agreed. For such a large pool their Customer Support is absolutely terrible! They really need to start investing in some customer-facing infrastructure (particularly native speakers) with enough technical chops to get these ticket turn around times reduced as well.

I went to antpool because I bought an antrouter for shits and giggles. I moved the rest of my mining equipment over out of laziness so I would not have to keep an eye on multiple pools. After the repeated downtime and issues with no answers, I hopped all my equipment back to my old pool.

Wise decision to move away from this as primary, I have these as one of my backups. Don't forget to have a backup pool (or more) though ;-) Antpool luck isn't so good lately past month or so: 24 Hours 3 Day 1 Week 2 Weeks 1 Month 3 Months All 80.00% 98.00% 99.00% 96.00% 96.00% 97.00% 99.00%

I've got my own miners on Antpool using PPS and my Hashnest hashrate is obviously PPLNS. After scaling both hashrate/payout and comparing them, they are very, very close in December, PPS is actually even higher. I prefer PPS for my peace of mind... @BITMAIN

I've made an alternative API here because of this issue, although I guess it's useless to you as you were doing it through their website and not their API. About scraping their blocks, their guide doesn't even document this AFAIK. That's too bad

I have been mining on Antpool for about two weeks now. I was using the PPS payout method but I recently switched to PPLNS. For the past 2 days my 24 hour earning average was about .07 -.08 however when I received the daily payout they were only around .045 - .05. Can someone explain to me if this right? How exactly are these payout calculated?
Thank You!
