Can someone explain the purpose of the bot's orders that sell 0.01 btc to the bid price after each buying that "virtualy" lower the price?

example :  http://uppix.net/9/5/4/68906b587e8761bc819afef02b1d1.jpg
check the 0.01 sell after each buying.

Is it bullish (price seems lower to buyers) or bearish purpose (to lower the price each time it's possible) ?
I can't figure it out and maybe that technique has a name?

Thanks

I am fairly certain this is action by Isis/Aido ATP users. It would appear to be an unintended effect; when configured to trade the minimum allowed, it can execute trades near continuously. Very long thread here.

if the spread is over 10 cents and they do this all the time they can profit off it

https://mtgox.com/fee-schedule

the spread seldomly is over 10 cents, though.

because if it was the bots can profit off it

While no idea is perfect, some ideas are useful.

5000+ dump. Took it down to 13.97 but the bids were back up to 14.21 within a minute or two

Several Mr. M's on the market with opposite positions^^ It looks like fireworks to me.

Also the bet recently received more weight on the green side: http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=1052 "2012 high will be broken in Jan 2013". I didn't know it will become this exciting. That the 3 bigger dumps couldn't get the price off its high horse is quite awesome.

Hi everyone.

Does it mean you sold? XD

I've been contemplating the theory a manipulator has been suppressing the price the best they can so as to get coins off exchange on the cheap; then they will drop resistance and sell into the rally on the way up.

Price is just chilling with very low volumes in a trading range. Nothing to worry for the moment.

Hi, btw  Smiley

Oh, I still think there's a pretty good chance we'll see single digits this year.  What'd I say before?  April or something?  Yeah, I think that's plausible.
